Just have a question for you guys. Not sure if I'm posting this in the right spot but I'm thinking about purchasing Maddux for the month. When he releases and sends his picks out... and if the line moves and is not the same as the pick he sent out is it better to use our judgement and play it as it is or buy points to get the line where they released it at if it's only 1/2-1 point difference? Any opinions and suggestions would be great. Thanks.
Stitches of The New York Post (Please note both games were to go earlier today and both were rained out)
The legendary Hondo has retired, replaced by our new baseball handicapping column called Stitches. Enjoy. And good luck.
Rangers came up a run short in the ninth last night. Moved the deficit to 134 cannolis. Going with a couple of cagey veterans Wednesday as I try to survive my new position. Cubs’ 38-year-old John Lackey, who may or may not be in his final season. And Chisox 35-year-old James Shields who will try to right the ship after his team dropped its opener. Twenty units on the Chicago squads.

Analysis: Recent 2-9 SU skid has put Detroit on the brink of playoff elimination. The early stages of that slump included an 87-75 home loss to Toronto on St. Patrick's Day when Pistons could only shoot 34.9% from the floor and wasted a 22-rebound effort from Andre Drummond (partly because Drummond scored only 8 points and, as is his bent, missed all four of his FT attempts). Looking for another reason why Detroit is slumping? Since the All-Star break, the Pistons have been outscored by an amazing 36 points per 100 possessions in the first six minutes of the first quarter, as none of their various starting lineups has worked. No wonder Stan Van Gundy is looking like a condemned man in recent weeks. Play Raptors
