The Rx.com Mod Team has created this Service Play sub-forum in order to supply an area for Rx Service Play Posters to expand upon their posting topics without creating a logjam in the main forum where the three principle threads are maintained..

Posters can track services here if they care to but we will need any trackers to do so in an accurate and civil manner. We did not create this area for posters to ridicule or bash any services..

You can also discuss who is hot and who is not. The general state of the pay for plays industry and any other subject or topic related to service plays.

You can also create individual threads about specific services and discuss them freely but civilly. Again bashing and abusive treatment of any services will not be tolerated.

Please remember, this forum is not here for regular posters who cap their own games to post ther daily plays. Please use our individual sport forums to post your plays. Professional cappers (those that sell plays) must remain in the Site Promotion Forum.

The Rx.com will not tolerate posters that post false records of any services they track. Please be truthful if you decide to track a particular service.

Lastly The Rx Moderators are appealing to you our everyday posters to report any promotional threads or posts that are made by services or individual touts. No links or contact information to an individual service will be allowed. Just the name of the service. Please report any threads or posts that are promotional attempts by services and touts to use this forum to promote themselves..

Posters can easily report a promotional post by using the triangular Report-a-Post Icon at the bottom left of all post boxes. The poster name of any poster who reports a post that is out of line will be kept strictly confidential.

I will leave this thread open for a month to take questions and do my best to answer them. I will check in daily but am off on Wednesday and Thursday.

I hope this additional Service Play Forum will satisfy those posters that would like to widen the scope of topics relating to service plays and the industry in general to have their own threads. Mods will be liberal as possible regarding topics but this forum was specifically created to allow you more freedom to express your ideas regarding service plays and related subject matter. No off topic threads will be allowed.

Thank you, wilheim

Wednesday's Best NCAAB Bet

Connecticut Huskies at West Virginia Mountaineers (-4.5, 131)

There’s a major logjam in the Big East and this week’s action will go a long way in determining the seeds for the conference tournament. Four teams are currently tied for seventh place and each is hoping to avoid playing on the first day of the tourney at MSG.

West Virginia knows it will have to try to contain Kemba Walker as much as possible on Wednesday, which is a lot easier said than done. Walker sits second in the conference averaging 22.8 points per game and can expect to see a lot of West Virginia’s 1-3-1 zone defense.

“Just force him into tough shots,” WVU point guard Joe Mazzulla told reporters about how the Huskies plan to defend Walker. “He’s a great player and will create his own shot and whatever we did with [Ben] Hansbrough – we want to kind of wear him down and make every shot he takes a tough one and don’t give him anything easy.”

Nothing’s going to come easy in this one. Take the points here and expect it to go down to the wire.

PICK 'N' ROLL

Wednesday's Best NBA Bet

Charlotte Bobcats at Denver Nuggets (-7.5, 201)

Denver has won three of its first four games following the Carmelo Anthony deal while leading its supporters to the pay window in all four of those contests – pretty impressive considering the extent of the Nuggets’ facelift.

"A lot of lineups can work," said newcomer Raymond Felton, who spent five years with Charlotte before joining the Knicks last offseason. "We've got a deep team. It will take (coach George Karl) a while, but I know coach is a great coach. ... He'll figure it out."

That seems to be the least of the team’s worries. Karl has put four different starting lineups on the floor since the trade and the club is stepping up as he tries to figure out where everyone fits into the big scheme of things. Five Nuggets scored in double figures in Monday’s 100-90 victory over Atlanta as a 6.5-point favorite.

Meanwhile, Charlotte is also dealing with a retooled lineup after trading away Gerald Wallace and Nazr Mohammed. Right now at least, it looks like the Nuggets are coming together quicker.

Wednesday's Best NHL Bets

Pittsburgh Penguins at Toronto Maple Leafs (-140, 5.5)

A lot has gone wrong for the Pittsburgh Penguins since they lost to the Washington Capitals in the Winter Classic on New Year's Day. Sidney Crosby suffered a concussion during that game and not long after that Evgeni Malkin went down for the year with a knee injury.

Despite those two major blows to the lineup, the Penguins are getting by with great coaching, impressive goaltending and overall depth. Following the trade deadline, they’re a significantly better team this week than they were last week.

Alex Kovalev scored the shootout winner in Toronto Saturday and the Pens should only improve as James Neal and Matt Niskanen get more comfortable after coming over from Dallas. That’s bad news for the Leafs.

"They play a net-crash game," said Toronto coach Ron Wilson after Saturday’s 6-5 loss. "We just weren't quite able to cope with that for whatever reason. (We were) sloppy, they had too much time."

The Maple Leafs have been hot and are expected to have rookie James Reimer back in goal on Wednesday, but it’s hard to pass up the plucky Pens at this price.

PICK: Pittsburgh Penguins

Tampa Bay Lightning at New Jersey Devils (-135, 5)

If you’re looking for a playoff atmosphere, look no further than this matchup.

The Lightning and Devils battled it out in a tight-checking 2-1 Tampa Bay victory last week and it should be just as tight this time around. The Devils are on a ridiculous 17-2-2 run and have a refocused emphasis on defense from coach Jacques Lemaire to thank for that, but against a potent offense like Tampa Bay’s, even a small lapse in concentration can be costly.

The Lightning struck twice in the second period of their last matchup, burying two goals in less than a minute and can play some defense too, having won three straight games while giving up just five goals over that span.

"At the beginning of the year we were great at closing out close games," Lightning coach Guy Boucher told his team's official website following another 2-1 victory over the Rangers on Sunday. "That's what games in the playoffs are going to be like, and that's what we want."

The books see it that way too with the total at 5 for Wednesday’s matchup but this should be a very similar game to the one we saw last week between the two clubs.
