The Akron Zips’ Hawaii Hangover should be behind them, as they’ll have had a couple
of home game to work through it. Akron’s three most recent outings won’t look
like much, but playing three games in four nights in Hawaii sapped their energy and
then they were asked to fly to South Carolina with South Carolina, who had just beaten them in Hawaii. As if they were supposed to care about revenge 6,000 miles and only three exhausted days later (they lost by 33!)? Ball State, scoring only 64 ppg and with a -3 TO Ratio through a weak schedule, represents a huge drop in class.
