The Rx.com Mod Team has created this Service Play sub-forum in order to supply an area for Rx Service Play Posters to expand upon their posting topics without creating a logjam in the main forum where the three principle threads are maintained..

Posters can track services here if they care to but we will need any trackers to do so in an accurate and civil manner. We did not create this area for posters to ridicule or bash any services..

You can also discuss who is hot and who is not. The general state of the pay for plays industry and any other subject or topic related to service plays.

You can also create individual threads about specific services and discuss them freely but civilly. Again bashing and abusive treatment of any services will not be tolerated.

Please remember, this forum is not here for regular posters who cap their own games to post ther daily plays. Please use our individual sport forums to post your plays. Professional cappers (those that sell plays) must remain in the Site Promotion Forum.

The Rx.com will not tolerate posters that post false records of any services they track. Please be truthful if you decide to track a particular service.

Lastly The Rx Moderators are appealing to you our everyday posters to report any promotional threads or posts that are made by services or individual touts. No links or contact information to an individual service will be allowed. Just the name of the service. Please report any threads or posts that are promotional attempts by services and touts to use this forum to promote themselves..

Posters can easily report a promotional post by using the triangular Report-a-Post Icon at the bottom left of all post boxes. The poster name of any poster who reports a post that is out of line will be kept strictly confidential.

I will leave this thread open for a month to take questions and do my best to answer them. I will check in daily but am off on Wednesday and Thursday.

I hope this additional Service Play Forum will satisfy those posters that would like to widen the scope of topics relating to service plays and the industry in general to have their own threads. Mods will be liberal as possible regarding topics but this forum was specifically created to allow you more freedom to express your ideas regarding service plays and related subject matter. No off topic threads will be allowed.

Thank you, wilheim

Tuesday's Best NHL Bets

Washington Capitals at Tampa Bay Lightning (-104, 5)

It does not look good for the Capitals right now, having lost the first two games of this series at home. Tampa Bay won 4-2 in Game 1 and 3-2 on Sunday.

Still, at least Washington has been competitive. The series opener was a one-goal game until the Lightning scored on an empty net late in the third period. Game 2 went into overtime, at which point Martin St. Louis won it while Dwayne Roloson shut the door.

The Capitals won’t mind going on the road because they came away victorious in their last two trips to Tampa Bay. They dominated 5-2 on February 4 and won 2-1 in a shootout on March 7.

“The series is not over,” Alex Ovechkin told the Washington Post. “We’re going there, and we’re going to win two games. It’s going to be hard, but right now in this situation, we have to win.”

Guaranteeing it probably isn’t a good idea, but the visitors should be able to get a victory in Game 3.

PICK: Capitals

Vancouver Canucks at Nashville Predators (+110, 5)

Vancouver saw its two-game winning streak come to an end on Saturday, but not because its opponent did anything to solve Roberto Luongo. The Canucks’ goalie allowed only one goal in regulation and did not give up the game-winner until late in the second overtime.

Luongo has seen only three pucks go by him in his last three outings. He stopped 31 of 32 shots in a 2-1 Game 7 win over Chicago, turned back all 20 shots in a 1-0 shutout of Nashville in Game 1, and saved 44 of 46 attempts in Game 2.

For the Predators, netminder Pekka Rinne is also in fine form. He, too, has allowed only two goals in the first two games of the series.

“Peks is a big reason, obviously," captain Shea Weber told the Tennessean of his team’s defense. “It is a team effort, too. You need five guys out there to shut those guys down.”

Vancouver and Nashville have now faced each other six times this season and all six games have gone under the total.

PICK 'N' ROLL

Tuesday's Best NBA Bets

Boston Celtics at Miami Heat (-5, 182.5)

Boston hammered a much different Miami team in five games during last year’s playoffs and won the first three meetings between the teams during the regular season, covering the spread on all three occasions.

But now it is the Heat who appear to have the upper hand. They crushed the Celtics 100-77 at home on April 10 and kicked off the series by rolling to a 99-90 win on Sunday.

If Boston is going to bounce back, it needs to do a better job of containing Dwyane Wade, who scored 38 points in the opener. And it’s not like the Celtics did much to stop him, as Wade made it look surprisingly easy.

“I don't think he hit a lot of tough shots tonight,” Ray Allen told the Palm Beach Post afterward. “He scored within the confines of what they were doing.”

Boston didn't stop James Jones either. They did a decent job at least holding Chris Bosh and LeBron James in check, but it’s going to be a long series for Boston if Jones continues to go off. Miami’s sharp-shooting reserve went for 25 points, draining five threes and all 10 of his free throws.

“I tried to focus in this week because I knew that Boston was going to try and take our big three away and somebody was going to have to step up,” Jones told the Miami Herald.

PICK: Heat

Memphis Grizzlies at Oklahoma City Thunder (-6.5, 197.5)

There may be better teams still alive in the NBA Playoffs than Memphis, but no team is playing better relative to its seeding. The eighth-seeded Grizzlies were simply the better squad in a first-round upset of San Antonio and they were way better than Oklahoma City on Sunday.

Playing just two days after ousting the Spurs, Memphis went on the road and took it to the Thunder for a convincing 114-101 victory.

Beating San Antonio clearly wasn’t a fluke and Sunday’s win does not look like a fluke, either. The Grizzlies have now won three in a row against Oklahoma City (3-0 ATS) and four of five this season (4-1 ATS).

Memphis continues to dominate inside. The team scored 52 points in the paint to the Thunder’s 38 and won the rebounding battle against an opponent that prides itself on the glass (albeit by just three boards). Zach Randolph maintained his torrid pace, going for 34 points and 10 rebounds, while Marc Gasol added 20 points and 13 boards.

“That’s our game,” head coach Lionel Hollins told the Memphis Commercial Appeal. “We got to the point where teams have tried to take it away from us and we’ve tried to do different things, but I can’t explain it. This is what we do; play inside-out.”

PICK: Grizzlies

HOT LINES

Tuesday's Best MLB Bets

Cleveland Indians at Oakland Athletics (-115, 7.5)

Baseball traditionalists never put very much stock into the first month of the season, but as far as ball bettors go, money’s money. The Indians are running away with the league’s cash standings early on, banking more than 13 units already.

You have to be impressed, considering the circumstances. The Indians are coming off a terrible season last year and had the deck stacked against them with a bunch of injuries to kick off this campaign.

"We lost two of our starters to the DL," closer Chris Perez told reporters about Carlos Carrasco and Mitch Talbot, "and it's just swept under the rug. ... I think it shows how far this organization has come. I think there are other teams that could lose two-fifths of their rotation, like the Yankees, and start signing scrap-heap guys. We're not doing that."

What they are doing is a whole lot of winning, checking into Tuesday’s date with six straight wins. The value’s here to bet on a seventh.

PICK: Indians

San Francisco Giants at New York Mets (-125, 7.5)

It doesn’t look like either of these teams is going to score many runs.

The Giants are without one of their only offensive weapons now that Pablo Sandoval is on the shelf and are hitting only .208 over the last 10 games. Meanwhile, New York has managed just nine runs over the last four games and are hitting only .243 on the year.

The Mets managed to avoid a sweep against the Phillies by booking a 2-1 win on Sunday, but they’ll have their work cut out for them against a rejuvenated Ryan Vogelsong who just picked up his first win since 2005.

"I wondered if I'd ever pitch in the big leagues again, let alone get a chance to be a starter and win a game," Vogelsong told reporters.

We’ll keep riding his hot hand in this spot and just hope the Giants can manage to push a few runs across R.A. Dickey.

PICK: Giants

What Bettors Need to Know: Tuesday's NBA Playoff Action
Boston Celtics at Miami Heat (-5, 182.5)
Miami leads series 1-0

THE STORY: The Miami Heat struck the first blow - now the pressure is on the Boston Celtics to respond. Dwyane Wade got some scoring help from an unlikely source in Game 1, and the Heat managed to jump out early and avoid the struggles that have plagued them at the end of close games en route to a 99-90 victory Sunday. The Celtics saw their leader shown the door and got sub-par performances from two of their All-Stars in their disappointing setback. Miami will be looking to put Boston in an even bigger hole when it hosts Game 2 on Tuesday.

TV: 7 p.m. ET, TNT

ABOUT THE HEAT: Miami won Game 1 in the first half when Wade went for 23 of his 38 points and the defense held the Celtics to less than 36 percent shooting en route to a 51-36 lead at the break. Every time it looked as though Boston would make a charge late, Wade responded. He converted a three-point play after the Celtics had cut it to 10 with 7:03 left and made spectacular plays down the stretch. LeBron James added 22 points, but it was James Jones who really confounded Boston's defense as he came off the bench to hit 5-of-7 3-point attempts and 10-of-10 free throws for 25 points.

ABOUT THE CELTICS: Ray Allen kept Boston in the game by hitting five 3-pointers and finishing with 25 points. But just as the Celtics looked poised to make another push, Paul Pierce was ejected with 7 minutes left in the fourth quarter. The All-Star set a hard screen on Wade, which drew a double technical for both players, and then said something that got him tossed. With Pierce gone, and Rajon Rondo and Kevin Garnett combining for 14 points, the Celtics did not have it at the end. Rondo, who should be Boston’s biggest advantage going against Mike Bibby on the other side, finished with seven assists and five turnovers.

WHO’S HOT/WHO’S NOT: Chris Bosh was the lone member of Miami’s Big Three to struggle Sunday with seven points on 3-of 10 shooting. Garnett was held to six points on 3-of-9 shooting, and did not get to the free throw line.

KEY STATISTIC: The 3-point barrage extended down both benches in Game 1. The Celtics connected on 12-of-24 attempts from beyond the arc and the Heat converted 9-of-19. Whichever team figures out how to defend the arc will have a leg up in Game 2.

TRENDS:

* Home team is 6-1 ATS in the last seven meetings.
* Over is 5-1 in the last six meetings in Miami.
* Celtics are 10-4 ATS in the last 14 meetings.
* Favorite is 14-6 ATS in the last 20 meetings.
* Celtics are 16-7 ATS in the last 23 meetings in Miami.

LAST WORD: “We’re going to have to fight for every inch, every game we get,” Wade said. “Right now, we won Game 1. We’re supposed to. We’ll go back and focus on winning Game 2.”

Memphis Grizzlies at Oklahoma City Thunder (-6.5, 198.5)
Memphis leads series 1-0

THE STORY: The best player on the Memphis Grizzlies didn’t make the All-Star team this season, and he is punishing teams for the oversight. Forward Zach Randolph scored a career playoff-high 34 points in the opener of the Western Conference semifinals, and will seek a second stellar performance when the eighth-seeded Grizzlies and the No. 4 seed Thunder meet in Tuesday’s Game 2 at Oklahoma City. Thunder star Kevin Durant declared Randolph the “best power forward in the league” after Randolph’s fine showing in Sunday’s series opener, won 114-101 by the upstart Grizzlies. Randolph has scored 25 or more points in five of Memphis’ seven postseason games, including four impressive showings in the Grizzlies’ six-game first-round upset of the top-seeded San Antonio Spurs. Randolph averaged 20.1 points and 12.2 rebounds in the regular season.

TV: 9:30 p.m. ET, TNT

ABOUT THE THUNDER: Durant (33 points) and point guard Russell Westbrook (29) combined for 62 points in the opener, and Oklahoma City still lost by double digits. The Thunder were sloppy with the basketball with 18 turnovers, including seven by Westbrook. Forward Serge Ibaka continued his fine postseason with 16 points, 11 rebounds and five blocked shots, but no other Oklahoma City player scored more than five points in the opener. The Thunder, who only received 16 points from their bench, had won 13 of their last 15 home games.

ABOUT THE GRIZZLIES: Randolph, who also had 10 rebounds, wasn’t the only Memphis big man to have his way in the opener. Center Marc Gasol made 9-of-11 field-goal attempts, and had 20 points and 13 rebounds. Gasol repeatedly hit open mid-range jumpers when Oklahoma City sagged inside to double-team Randolph. Memphis committed only seven turnovers and point guard Mike Conley played a solid game with 15 points, seven assists and zero turnovers. The Grizzlies had 11 steals as Randolph led the way with three. Bench players Darrell Arthur and O.J. Mayo struggled as both scored six points on 2-of-7 shooting.

WHO'S HOT/WHO’S NOT: Gasol has recorded three consecutive playoff double-doubles and has averaged 14.3 points and 14.3 rebounds during that span. Durant is averaging 35 points in his last three games.

KEY STATISTIC: Randolph has three 30-point, 10-rebound games against Oklahoma City in five meetings this season.

TRENDS:

* Over is 6-0 in the last six meetings.
* Over is 14-3 in the last 17 meetings in Oklahoma City.
* Grizzlies are 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings.

LAST WORD: “You can’t stop him. You’ve got to make him shoot tough shots like he’s been doing, but if he’s making them, he’s tough to stop. He’s an animal.” – Durant on Randolph.

What Bettors Need to Know: Tuesday's NHL Playoff Action
Washington Capitals at Tampa Bay Lightning (-104, 5)
Tampa Bay leads 2-0

THE STORY: The Tampa Bay Lightning are having such a good time on the road that they might not want to come home. After winning five straight away from the Sunshine State - including the first two of their Eastern Conference semifinal series against the top-seeded Washington Capitals - well, the schedule dictates that the fifth-seeded Lightning must play the next two at St. Pete Times Forum. Captain Vincent Lecavalier did his part by netting his second goal of the night at 6:19 of overtime to give Tampa Bay a 3-2 win on Sunday. Now, coach Guy Boucher's club will look to take a commanding 3-0 lead in the series when the teams reconvene in Tampa Bay on Tuesday.

TV: 6:30 ET, VERSUS, TSN

ABOUT THE CAPITALS: Captain Alex Ovechkin sent the Verizon Center into a frenzy when he scored with 67 seconds to play in regulation on Sunday. His fourth tally of the postseason leveled the contest at 2-2. After allowing just two goals in three home playoff games, rookie Michal Neuvirth permitted three tallies for the second straight contest against the Lightning. Nicklas Backstrom led the Capitals in shots for the second straight game. He had six shots in Game 2. Backstrom also picked up an assist to mark just his second point of the playoffs, but hasn't scored a goal since March 22 against the Philadelphia Flyers. Washington right wing Mike Knuble returned to the ice on Sunday after a three-game absence due to a hand injury.

ABOUT THE LIGHTNING: For all of the much-publicized stars, defenseman Randy Jones made quite the impact despite playing under 6 1/2 minutes in his first postseason game on Sunday. In the lineup for the injured Pavel Kubina, Jones wired a lead pass up to Teddy Purcell at the offensive blue line. Purcell then found Lecavalier, who lifted the puck over Neuvirth for the overtime winner. Hart Trophy finalist Martin St. Louis recorded a goal and an assist, Purcell set up two tallies and Dwayne Roloson made 35 saves on Sunday.

WHO'S HOT/WHO’S NOT: Lecavalier has registered four points already in the semifinal series. After notching a pair of assists in the Game 1 win, he scored twice in Game 2 to up his postseason points total to 10. He also has secured points in seven of the nine playoff games this far. Washington left wing Brooks Laich had a goal and assist on Sunday and now has four points in his last three contests.

SPECIAL TEAMS: After stopping 34 of 35 shorthanded situations against the Penguins, the Lightning picked up where they left off by killing off all 11 of the Capitals' power plays in the first two games of the series. Tampa Bay went 1-for-5 with the man advantage on Sunday and is now 10-for-36 in the playoffs. For its part, Washington is 3-for-27 with the man advantage in the playoffs while stopping 26 of 29 shorthanded situations.

TRENDS:

* Capitals are 10-2 in the last 12 meetings in Tampa Bay.
* Capitals are 19-7 in the last 26 meetings.
* Under is 5-2 in the last seven meetings.
* Underdog is 4-0 in the last four meetings.
* Road team is 4-0 in the last four meetings.

LAST WORD: "It's a great feeling to win those two games, but we haven't done anything yet," St. Louis, on the Lightning take the first two contests of the series.

Vancouver Canucks at Nashville Predators (+110, 5)
Series tied 1-1

THE STORY: The decibel level at Bridgestone Arena on Tuesday will be at an all-time high as the Nashville Predators host the Vancouver Canucks in Game 3 of their Western Conference semifinal series. The fifth-seeded Predators overcame a dreadful performance in the series opener to post a 2-1 double-overtime victory in Game 2 on Saturday. Nashville held the Presidents' Trophy-winning Canucks to a total of two goals over the first two contests and kept the high-scoring Sedin twins off the scoresheet entirely. Vezina Trophy candidates Pekka Rinne and Roberto Luongo have both been excellent, with the latter posting a shutout in Game 1 and the former stealing the show in Game 2 with several outstanding saves in overtime.

TV: 9 p.m. ET, VERSUS, CBC, SportSouth

ABOUT THE PREDATORS: In addition to Rinne, Nashville's top defensive pairing of captain Shea Weber and Ryan Suter were beasts on Saturday as each logged over 42 minutes of ice time. Suter also scored the Predators' first goal of the series with 67 seconds remaining in the third period and Matt Halischuk netted the game-winner at 14:51 of the second overtime. The Predators, who received just two power-play opportunities in regulation, had one in each of the overtimes. They failed on each attempt while allowing the Canucks to score their lone goal in a shorthanded situation. Steve Sullivan was Nashville's only forward not to record a shot on goal.

ABOUT THE CANUCKS: Luongo was on his way to his second straight shutout Saturday before Suter's fluke goal. The veteran netminder has stopped 64 of the 66 shots he has faced thus far in the series. Vancouver was outshot 36-15 in regulation but came alive in extra time, registering 18 shots to the Predators' 10. While Weber and Suter received the bulk of the ice time among Nashville's blue-liners, the Canucks' top four defensemen shared the load. Kevin Bieksa led the way with over 38 minutes of action, Dan Hamhuis and Alex Edler fell just short of that plateau and Christian Ehrhoff spent over 34 minutes on the ice.

WHO'S HOT/WHO'S NOT: Alex Burrows scored the lone goal for Vancouver in Game 2 after netting both of his team's tallies in Game 7 of the conference quarterfinals against the Chicago Blackhawks, including the winner in overtime. Burrows has four goals in his last four contests. Ryan Kesler and captain Henrik Sedin both have five assists but no goals in nine games this postseason. Joel Ward and Mike Fisher lead the Predators with three goals and six points apiece, and Weber also has tallied three times.

SPECIAL TEAMS: Neither team has broken through on the power play thus far in the series, with Nashville going 0-for-9 and Vancouver 0-for-6. Both the Predators (6-for-36) and Canucks (4-for-24) have converted 16.7 percent of their chances in the postseason. Vancouver has an 84.2 percent success rate on the penalty kill while Nashville has a 71.4 percent efficiency.

TRENDS:

* Under is 6-0 in the last six meetings.
* Canucks are 6-2 in the last eight meetings in Nashville.
* Under is 5-2 in the last 7 meetings in Nashville.

LAST WORD: "He was definitely their best player. We had plenty of chances to win it in overtime and plenty of chances to go up 2-0 (in the series), and he stood on his head." - Bieksa, on Rinne's performance in Game 2.

Tuesday's Betting Tips: Shaq Ready For Game 2?

Weather To Watch

Milwaukee Brewers at Atlanta Braves – Meteorologists expect 18 mph winds blowing in from left field and up to a 70 percent chance of precipitation.

Who’s Hot

NBA: Boston has covered in 10 of its last 14 meetings with Miami.

NHL: Washington trails 2-0 in its series against the Lightning, but has won 10 of its last 12 trips to Tampa Bay.

MLB: Minnesota has won 22 of the last 28 meetings between the Twins and White Sox.

MLB: Cleveland has won six straight games.

Who’s Not

NBA: Memphis is 1-4 against the spread in its last five meetings with Oklahoma City.

NHL: Nashville has won only two of its last eight home games against Vancouver.

MLB: Toronto has won just six of its last 29 dates in Tampa Bay.

MLB: Washington is 13-40 in its last 53 games against Philadelphia.

Key Stat

73.3 percent – Memphis’ Zach Randolph and Marc Gasol were way too much for the Thunder to handle in the paint, but the two big men really did a number on them from outside as well. The pair hit 11 of 15 (73.3 percent) combined shots from outside 10 feet. The Grizzlies are set as 6.5-point underdogs for Tuesday’s Game 2 at Oklahoma City.

Injury That Shouldn’t Be Overlooked

Shaquille O’Neal, Boston Celtics: Shaq is getting closer to returning to the lineup, but he’s still listed as questionable for Tuesday’s Game 2. O’Neal hasn’t played since April 5 and the Celtics could use him inside after getting pushed around a bit in the first game of the series.

Game Of The Day

Boston Celtics at Miami Heat (-5, 182)

Notable Quotable

"A game as big as this game, you rarely see a guy of Paul's caliber thrown out of the game, especially when both guys are having words. One guy basically jumps into his chest. It's just a natural reaction to have words, but you can't get thrown out of the game, especially when your team is trying to make a run." – Jermaine O’Neal after Celtics captain Paul Pierce was ejected with seven minutes remaining in Game 1’s loss to Miami. Pierce picked up two technicals in a span of 57 seconds to earn the early shower.

Tips And Notes

Third baseman Evan Longoria is expected to return to the Tampa Bay Rays’ lineup Tuesday after rehabbing the oblique injury that has kept him sidelined since the first week of the season. Longoria says he expects to be “close to 100 percent” against the Toronto Blue Jays. Tampa Bay is currently set as a -165 favorite.

So far, the Nashville Predators are doing a number on Vancouver’s potent Sedin twins. Daniel and Henrik Sedin have been held without a point through the first two games of the series as Nashville heads home for Game three after earning a split in Vancouver. Daniel led the NHL with 104 points in the regular season and Henrik wasn’t far behind with 94. The Canucks are set as a -125 road favorite.

Real Madrid will be without suspended fullbacks Sergio Ramos and Pepe for Tuesday’s second leg of the Champions League semifinal against Barcelona, while coach Jose Mourinho is also banned following an ejection last week. Mourinho accused officials of trying to help Barcelona through to the May 28 Champions League finals. More on this alleged fix here.

Hondo

It took an act of God, but Hondo managed to stop the bleeding yesterday when he was rained out with the Reds, which left the accounts payable holding firm at 765 newcombes.

Tonight, Mr. Aitch will try again with Leake and add Billingsley (Chad, not Barbara) to the mix -- 10 units apiece on the Reds and Dodgers.
