The Rx.com Mod Team has created this Service Play sub-forum in order to supply an area for Rx Service Play Posters to expand upon their posting topics without creating a logjam in the main forum where the three principle threads are maintained..

Posters can track services here if they care to but we will need any trackers to do so in an accurate and civil manner. We did not create this area for posters to ridicule or bash any services..

You can also discuss who is hot and who is not. The general state of the pay for plays industry and any other subject or topic related to service plays.

You can also create individual threads about specific services and discuss them freely but civilly. Again bashing and abusive treatment of any services will not be tolerated.

Please remember, this forum is not here for regular posters who cap their own games to post ther daily plays. Please use our individual sport forums to post your plays. Professional cappers (those that sell plays) must remain in the Site Promotion Forum.

The Rx.com will not tolerate posters that post false records of any services they track. Please be truthful if you decide to track a particular service.

Lastly The Rx Moderators are appealing to you our everyday posters to report any promotional threads or posts that are made by services or individual touts. No links or contact information to an individual service will be allowed. Just the name of the service. Please report any threads or posts that are promotional attempts by services and touts to use this forum to promote themselves..

Posters can easily report a promotional post by using the triangular Report-a-Post Icon at the bottom left of all post boxes. The poster name of any poster who reports a post that is out of line will be kept strictly confidential.

I will leave this thread open for a month to take questions and do my best to answer them. I will check in daily but am off on Wednesday and Thursday.

I hope this additional Service Play Forum will satisfy those posters that would like to widen the scope of topics relating to service plays and the industry in general to have their own threads. Mods will be liberal as possible regarding topics but this forum was specifically created to allow you more freedom to express your ideas regarding service plays and related subject matter. No off topic threads will be allowed.

Thank you, wilheim

Ice picks: Tuesday's best NHL bets

Montreal Canadiens at Atlanta Thrashers (-105, 5.5)

Montreal is getting some good news between the pipes, while the Thrashers could use a little of their own.

The Canadiens expect No.1 Carey Price to be back in the cage on Tuesday night after battling an illness that kept him on the bench this weekend. Price has a 2.41 goals-against average this season and a 91.9 save percentage. Price should get some decent offensive support with Mike Cammalleri and Tomas Plekanec clicking again.

Cammalleri missed about a month with a shoulder injury but has scored in each of the past two games to provide a vital offensive spark to the club. Cammalleri has two goals and two assists in his last two games.

“We’re excited to be back playing with each other. I’m sure he’s almost already sick of me. We’ve been talking about a bunch of plays,” Cammalleri said of linemate Tomas Plekanec, who netted his 20th goal of the season in the team’s most recent game, a 4-3 win over Carolina. Overall, the team has won two of its past three games and scored 11 goals over that span.

Meantime, Atlanta will have a hard time slowing down the hot Habs. The Thrashers likely will be without starting goalie Ondrej Pavelec who is battling an undisclosed injury. Also, recently acquired Radek Dvorak, Rob Schremp and Brett Festerling are expected to miss the game pending completion of their respective transactions.

Pick: Montreal

Dallas Stars at Phoenix Coyotes (-155, 5.5)

It took nearly three weeks, but the Dallas Stars are adapting to life without leading-scorer Brad Richards.

Over the past six games, Loui Eriksson has three goals and five points and recently acquired defender Alex Goligoski has a goal and two assists in three games with Dallas. Together, the duo has helped lead the team to consecutive convincing wins – a 4-1 win at Detroit and a 3-2 victory against Nashville.

“It wouldn’t have mattered if we played St. Mary’s School for the Deaf, Dumb and Blind, we needed a win last night and it is great that it came against one of the better teams in the league,” Dallas coach Marc Crawford said. “Now we’ve got to keep the momentum going.”

Meantime, the momentum is going the other way for the Coyotes. Phoenix has dropped three straight and given up a whopping 17 goals in the process. The team desperately needs help on the blue line, where it remains without injured stalwart Ed Jovanovski and David Schlemko.

The team acquired Rostislav Klesla from Columbus on Monday, but it is unknown if the transaction will be finalized in time for him to take the ice on Tuesday night. The Coyotes better be good at paper work – they desperately need him.

Pick: Dallas

Pick 'n' roll:

Tuesday's best basketball bets

NBA

New York Knicks at Orlando Magic (-7, 213)

The Knicks love when everyone writes them off against quality opponents. And why shouldn’t they? Even rebuilt, the team just losst to the lowly Cleveland Cavaliers. But when the chips are down against a contender, there aren’t many teams better than New York.

The team from Manhattan is a sparkling 6-2-1 ATS as an underdog of seven points or more this season. Most recently, the Knicks stunned the basketball world with a 91-86 win over the Heat. Miami entered the game as a 10-point favorite.

"The bigger the game, the bigger the stage, the bigger they play," Knicks coach Mike D'Antoni said.

Orlando, however, often shrinks from the spotlight.

The Magic are just 14-12 ATS this season as favorites of seven or more points and often fail to focus against lesser teams. Orlando is coming off consecutive straight up and against the spread wins versus Charlotte and Oklahoma City, but lost to the Kings in Florida last week by six.

"We've been talking for a long time -- all we seem to do is talk," Magic center Dwight Howard said. "You guys know what the difference is. You watch the games. If guys don't want to play, they need to sit down. We can't just have guys or anybody out there not playing hard.

"We're professional athletes. This is what we do for a living. If you can't go out there and go hard for two hours, then you shouldn't be playing."

Pick: Knicks

NCAA

Alabama Crimson Tide at Florida Gators (-6, 123.5)

The Crimson Tide simply can’t shoot from beyond the arc. The team is an abysmal 22-of-86 from downtown the past seven games and is making a mere 30 percent of its triples on the season. That’s bad news for a team that relies so heavily on its defense to win games.

Alabama is fourth in the country in points allowed per game (58.2) and fourth in opponents field goal percentage (37.3) and needs to play that well to win. The team is a horrendous 3-7 SU when giving up more than 60 points. Don’t fall for the team’s 45.2 percent shooting percentage either – the Crimson Tide have made nearly 110 dunks this season, meaning more than 15 percent of its baskets are slams around the rim.

That’s not the only troubling issue on offense. Senior Senario Hillman started the team’s first 10 games but has played sparingly since and was scoreless in 12 minutes in the team’s most recent game.

Hillman needs just 13 points to reach 1,000 for his career and just six steals to become the program’s all-time leader. However, he appears to be so far in the dog house, neither of those milestones are a given.

"He's so active," Alabama coach Anthony Grant said. "He can do so many things, and he's starting to get a comfort level from an offensive standpoint as well as far as what he can and can't do. ... He's playing good basketball, and we certainly need him to continue."

He can’t play though, if he’s never on the floor.

Pick: Florida

Bettors' best friend (BBF): Tuesday's wagering tips

Injury of interest

Tony Parker, San Antonio Spurs: Parker is reportedly going to be out of action for two to four weeks with a strained calf after suffering the injury Sunday against Memphis. Parker is putting up 17.1 points and 6.6 assists per game for the Spurs, who have dropped four straight against the number.

Key trends

NBA: Golden State has played under the total in nine of its last 12 games and is 4-13 ATS in its last 17 meetings with Indiana. The Warriors are pegged as 6-point underdogs for Tuesday’ matchup.

NBA: New Orleans has covered the number in just three of the club’s last games.

NBA: Dallas has played over in 13 of its last 16 games and has covered in six of its last seven overall.

NBA: Orlando has played under in nine of its last 10. The Magic are set as a 7-point home favorite against New York on Tuesday with the total pegged at 213.

NHL: Colorado has won just six times over its last 26 games. The Avalanche are set as huge +245 underdogs at San Jose on Tuesday.

NHL: Columbus has won eight of its last 11 games but has won only six times in the club’s last 19 dates in Vancouver. The Blue Jackets are set at +170 for Tuesday’s game.

NHL: Florida is 5-14 in its last 19 games and has won just four times in its last 29 games in Carolina.

NCAAB: Purdue has won and covered each of its last six games heading into Tuesday’s contest against Illinois.

NCAAB: Kentucky is just 2-6-1 ATS in its last nine games. The Wildcats host Vanderbilt on Tuesday.

Number of note

4.5 – The Colorado Avalanche have given up an average of 4.5 goals over their last eight games, helping over bettors cash in five times over that span. The club has also allowed at least one power-play goal in each of those eight games. Colorado’s penalty killing unit ranks last in the NHL shutting down only 76.7 percent of the power plays it faces.

Notes and tips

NBA refs can have a huge impact on your bets. Check out our NBA referee stats here, where you’ll find extensive information about specific referees' tendencies. Right now, Sean Wright, Tony Brothers and Mark Ayotte are all helping out over bettors in a big way while Mark Lindsay, James Capers and Michael Smith are the biggest homer refs in the Association.

Monday's NHL trade deadline came and went after 16 total trades, but without many big names changing places. The Los Angeles Kings brought Dustin Penner and his 21 goals with the Oilers and he's expected to find a home on the No. 1 line with Anze Kopitar. The Washington Capitals swung a pair of deals and hope to have both Jason Arnott and Denis Wideman in the lineup Tuesday against the Islanders. Meanwhile, the Vancouver Canucks added some depth by bringing in forwards Chris Higgins and Maxim Lapierre to town. Lapierre should suit up Tuesday against Columbus, but Higgins will be out for about another month with a broken thumb.

Milwaukee center Andrew Bogut left Monday’s practice early telling the media he “can’t comment” on the reason for his early exit. Bogut is already dealing with a sore left elbow and coach Scott Skiles said later that the big Aussie may be also dealing with a left ribcage injury. His status is now in question for Tuesday’s game against Detroit. Bogut is averaging 12.6 points and 11.5 rebounds per game.

Guys about 10 days ago, I went on a four day bing with no access to the forum, so my tracking to a shit. Tried to catch up and have been tracking since so here are some records. You'll notice I removed some that were about 50% and added some others that seem to get some chatter here. While ATS was on a 1-13 streak they've turned it around and the opposite is true for Indian Cowboy who was hot in college but is very cold now.

Black and bold means to follow, Red and bold means to fade.
