San Diego Padres (69-82) at Colorado Rockies (85-65)
(R) Edward Mujica (3-4) vs. (L) Jorge De La Rosa (15-9)

Colorado Rockies have won their last five home games and are 45-27 at Coors Field this season. Go with the Rockies at home to cool off the Padres. Colorado has won six of the last eight contests versus San Diego in Denver and nine of southpaw Jorge De La Rosa last ten starts at home.
De La Rosa is 15-3 with a 3.48 ERA in his last 19 starts.

Anybody want 5 Dollars that's left in my account, I can't add anymore in my account right now. That five dollars can discount a purchase on a pick.

Big Al McMordie

Cardinals-Astros Under 9 (-110)

Houston is in a total rut while St. Louis' bats have gone quiet recently. Play the Under on Tuesday night when the Astros host the Cardinals in Game 2 of their series at Minute Maid Park.

Our Tuesday night MLB selection is on the Houston Astros and St. Louis Cardinals staying under the total at Minute Maid Park.

At this point and with a double-digit lead in the NL Central, the Cardinals are now effectively playing for the best record and home field advantage throughout the NL playoffs. But what they should be most concerned with right now is scoring runs.

All of a sudden the pop seems to have gone out of the St. Louis bats. In the Cards' last 10 games they have scored a total of just 35 runs, and they have only scored more than three runs on three occassions during that time.

They will turn to righthander Joel Pineiro tonight and Pineiro has fallen victim lately to that very same lack of run support. After winning all of Pineiro's 10 starts in the months of July and August, the Cardinals are off to a 1-3 record in Pineiro's first four starts of September, and they have only scored a total of two runs in his last two starts against Atlanta and Florida.

Heading into Tuesday's game, the under is 21-7-1 in the last 29 meetings between St. Louis and Houston. Take the Under.
