HERE ARE MY TWO 2*'s as part of my 4 play package
#733 2* Austin Peay +26 Kansas 4 PM
Kansas Head Coach Bill Self does not care by how much he wins this game by. Kansas was the Big 12’s regular season champ, the Big 12’s conference tournament champ and the only goal left is the NCAA champ. The Jayhawks basically only use 6 players so expect them to look-ahead to Saturday’ game early in the second half. Austin Peay has been shooting the lights out of late reaching 49% in each of their last 7 games and shooting 52% in that span and while we not dare compare the Jayhawks defense to the Oho Valley Conference they will put up some points. Another thing we look for when playing on a huge dog is that the large favorite, in this case Kansas, has their game AFTER the #8/#9 matchup so while they are playing this contest they already know if they will be facing Colorado or Connecticut and you can’t tell me the Jayhawks players will stay focused here if they have a 20 point second half lead.
#735/736 2* UNDER 132 Connecticut /Colorado 1:30 PM
Colorado takes advantage of their home court altitude edge and when running the ball they get many easy shots and shoot over 45% there. On the road is different a different story as the Buffaloes only make 39.3% of their shots and an 11:30 AM local time start certainly isn’t advantaged for an quick offensive burst. Meanwhile U Conn’s defense is not only elite (#11) they also use all of the shot clock with a motion offense which is evident with an adjusted tempt ranking of #298. In Colorado’s last 10 games they have played 5 opponents with defense’s in my to 50 and those 5 foes had an average ranking of #36 and the Buffaloes shot 34.0%, 30.5%, 41.5%, 33.8% and 32.9% and you’ll see more of the same tonight.
