Listen, all I'm saying is these touts, you're going to follow? For what reason? Do you think they know anymore than you if you researched a game yourself? Look at Marc Lawrence for example with that huge data base. All that info and he loses consistently like today, and the day before that and so on and so forth. Maddux and Nover was blistering. Now they're not. Just because a guy goes 8-2, what's that really mean? He's a handicapping God? Tails will certainly come up eight out of ten times too. And to pay theses so called gurus on top of it all is just mind boggling to me! Biggest college release of the year! A, okay. We've heard that the last couple of days. Play blows up. Who didn't know that? I sure knew.

An honest tout, and contrary to most of the BS you hear on these boards, is NOT oxymoron, does this for a living while most are working for "the man". You are correct in saying one can study the numbers, read the insider boards, monitor the resting of players, monitoring up-to-date injury reports, etc. and eventually become just as successful as any honest tout. But then again, who has the time to spend all these hours daily, weekly and monthly? An honest tout, that's who. It's not like looking for a needle in a haystack - that's one thing these forums are very useful for vs Googling for them... now THAT is like looking for a needle in a haystack.

Anyone can become a surgeon, OR a quack, too.

Thats just today. Im sure he isnt the only tout to go 0-fer in one day. He has done pretty well, and well for me. But you are entitled to your opinion.

He doesn't have to rely on selling his picks to earn a living. He does that by picking his spots, not playing everyday and playing the games himself. A true handicapper. If I had a service and just gave you one or two games a week, but winners 61-62% of the time, you'd bail on me. Most guys need that action more than the money itself that's why they feed you tons of games a day. There's just simply not that many situational or good scheduling spots everyday. No way. They're for the most part gypsters not tipsters.
