400-Unit College ACC Midweek Must - GEORGIA TECH

The Yellow Jackets jumped out to a huge lead over Clemson last Thursday, but let the Tigers rally before getting a late score to beat the Tigers 30-27. Momentum plays a huge role for these young players and rallying in that big conference opener goes a long way in their psyche and gives them much more confidence coming into this one.

Georgia Tech has dominated Miami on the gridiron lately, winning four straight and getting the cash in each and every one. Last year the Yellow Jackets sent Miami packing early with a 41-23 drubbing as three point favorites in Atlanta. Now Miami is the home team, but these guys have had a long wait since Labor Day to get back on the field for this one.

Georgia Tech opened a 24-0 lead on Clemson in the first 20 minutes of the game and they got a great rushing game, with 301 yards rushig, 418 total, rallying for the 30-27 win, but the Jackets failed to cover the number. It's the momentum of success they had there that will carry over here in Miami.

The Jackets piled up 472 yards rushing against Miami last year in their 41-23 win as a three-point home favorite. Georgia Tech just owned that game, rushing out to a 41-10 fourth-quarter lead.

Miami is a terrible team to bet on, currently sporting negative ATS runs of 13-32-1 at home, 20-43-1 as a favorite, 10-31-1 as a home chalk and 1-10 when laying 3 1/2 to 10 points.

Look for the 'Jackets to build off the big win over Clemson and Josh Nesbitt to play a stellar game at managing the clock and limiting mistakes.

Play Georgia Tech tonight!

BOSTON –1½ +1.26 over L.A. Angels PINNACLE
The Angels are just a damaged squad as soon as they step foot into Fenway and after last might’s devastating loss, one has to wonder how they can possibly bounce back tonight. For one, they had trouble scoring against Paul Byrd, they had a 3-0 lead, blew it, they had a 7-5 lead, blew it and they had a 9-8 lead with two outs in the ninth and nobody on and blew that too. They Angels walked off dejected and psychologically drained while the Red Sox celebrated like they had just won a playoff series. This was without Youkilis and Victor Martinez and it appears as though the latter will be back tonight. The Red Sox have won 10 straight at home and Ervin Santana hasn’t beaten Boston since 2005. Including playoffs, he’s 0-2 with a 7.30 ERA in his last five starts against the Red Sox. Angels can’t get out of here fast enough and it would be a huge surprise to see them respond tonight after its most hurting and damaging loss of the year last night. Play: Boston –1½ +1.26 (Risking 2 units).

Kansas City +1.00 over DETROIT (1st 5 innings) PINNACLE
The Tigers were rather fortunate to pull one put last night after trailing 3-0 and after the Royals failed to score on a number of missed opportunities, not to mention having a couple of guys thrown out at the plate. The Tigers have just three wins in its last nine games and two of those three wins should have been losses. This is a team that is in choke mode and its chances against a dominant pitcher like Zack Greinke are not very good. Greinke is 2-0 with a 0.84 ERA in his last four starts and he’s 2-1 with a 1.16 ERA in four starts this season against the Tigers. He deserves the Cy Young award because nobody in the AL has been better. He owns the majors lowest ERA at 2.19 and these Tigers are no swinging the bats well at all and haven’t all year long. Note the 1:00 PM start time. Play: Kansas City +1.00 in the first five innings (Risking 2 units).

Top of the Ticket - KC/Detroit

4* #959 KANSAS CITY over DETROIT

Zack Greinke?s brilliant 2009 season may not be enough to get him the Cy Young award ? pitching for a bad team cuts you short in the W/L column. But not only has been the best pitcher in the sport this summer, he is taking his game to an even higher level now, with a sparkling 0.38 over his last three starts. To get him in this price range against the tiring Edwin Jackson is a major bargain here, as a loose and confident Royal team can continue a late-season surge against an opponent that is nothing special. Over the last nine games Kansas City has gone 7-2, while it has been a 3-6 slide for Detroit. Five of those games were head-to-head encounters, with the Royals going 4-1, and dominating them by a combined count of 33-14. And note that those five wins came without an appearance from Greinke. Now it is bad news for a Tiger lineup that has not been able to catch up this his stuff this season, managing just four runs over 31 innings in the four outings that they did face him, games in which Greinke had a dominating count of 34 strikeouts vs. 19 hits allowed. He should be able to build a bridge all the way to the rested Joakim Soria, who has not been scored on since August 24th, and sits at 2.56 with 25 saves. Meanwhile Jackson has also had a career turning season, but at 190 innings he is no longer what he was earlier in the campaign. A 2.52 ERA at the All Star break has turned into a 4.48 since then, and three times in his last seven outings he has been tagged for multiple home runs, including allowing three to Toronto in his last start. We peg him as vulnerable here, and in a night-to-day setting the Tiger bullpen brings issues as well, with Zach Minor, Bobby Seay, Brandon Lyon and Fernando Rodney all having to work last night.

OK so you have 1 ACC teams that is 2-0 and another ACC team that is 1-0 and laying 5 points? Both nearly escaped loses last week until late in the games. After carefully analyzing this game, we cant see not going with Miami laying the points here at home. We see both teams equally matched and both capable of winning this game but there is some spark in this Miami team this year that should prove to be difficult for Georgia Tech to hang with.
PICK: Miami (FL) -5 (7*)
PICK: Miami (FL) -3 1H (3*)
PICK: UNDER 54 Game (3*)

Thursday unit rated Mlb play GC-

On Thursday night the 2 unit bases play is on the under in the Mets at Braves game. Rotation numbers 955/6 at 7:10 eastern. In this series in Atlanta 17 of the last 24 games have stayed under the total. The Braves have gone 0-4 to the under as a home favorite in this range. Tonight they have J.Jurjens taking the mound. Jurjens has a solid 2.76 home era and 2.05 in his last three starts. In his last three starts vs the Mets he has allowed just 4 runs in 19+ innings. The Mets have gone under in 9 of 13 times as a road dog from +225 to +250. NY. has averaged just 3.3 runs per game over the past week, as their offensive woes have continued. On Thursday Nelson Figueroa makes the start in Atlanta. The Mets have stayed under the total in all three of Figueroa road starts and he has a fine 2.08 road era. Congrats to those who jumped on the Wednesday 5 star Mlb totals winner. On Thursday I have the Thursday night game of the year in college football. This game is backed with a 16-2 college system and 3 different Power angles.. For the Bases play take the under in the Mets at Braves game bol GC-
