Free Pick

St. Louis Cardinals @ Baltimore Orioles

St. Louis +122

You need pitching and defense to contend on the road and St. Louis is loaded with both. They need someone to shut down the hot Baltimore offense, and they have a strong arm going in Lance Lynn (11-8, 2.89 ERA). He has allowed one, one, one, two, two and, zero earned runs his last six starts. In fact, he's allowed two runs or less in nine of his last 10! Lynn has deserved a better fate in his last three starts, posting an 0-2 mark despite yielding just two runs in each, and 14 hits collectively. That's because this Cardinal offense is 29th in runs scored and 25th in slugging. But the Cardinals are 10-1 in their last 11 games after losing the first two games of a series. And that deep pitching staff is why St. Louis is 36-15 during game three of a series, including 20-7 when Lynn starts game three of a series. He will keep Baltimore in check. Play the St. Louis Cardinals.

2* Padres/Pirates Under 7.5

This line has moved to 7 at places. I would still play 7 for 2*, as 7 is going to be a push...and if the game hits 8 we would have lost either way. Anyways, we have two pitchers who have been giving quality starts for their teams. Morton and Ross have both been doing very well lately, and recently Morton just shut down the Pads out in San Diego. The first couple games of this series were both 2-1 games, and in this rubber match, we'll look for a LOW scoring affair again.

Tulsa Shock@Seattle Storm SEATTLE STORM -3

The Tulsa Shock coming with a 3 game winning streak to Seattle, they are just 1 game behind San Antonio for the last play off spot in the west, Seattle is 2 games behind, both with 3 games left, so this is a huge game

Seattle with a impressive home win against the Atlanta Dream,Tulsa might have started their play off run a little to late as all of their remaining 3 games are on the road

plus there are some more factors why Seattle is a great bet today, the spread from -3 will go up a point or two till game time, i am sure about that

you always have to be careful when Tulsa travels to Seattle because there are no direct flights availabe, the girls are on a 16hour travel, that will surely affect the team

and another important point ( maybe the most important) is that rookie of the month Odysee Sims is most likely missing because of a shoulder injury, that would bust the "dynamic backcourt duo" Sims Diggins who alone are good for 50 points combined

Seattle really hammered Atlanta with a impressive performance in defense AND offense

so my selection is Seattle Storm -3

BONES BEST BET

DODGERS ML -143 *4* BEST BET

We simply can not avoid betting when it is Clayton Kershaw who toes the rubber, he is 13-2 with a 1.82 ERA and has 157 strikeouts in 128.1 innings. The Dodgers are 35-16 in Kershaw’s last 51 road starts and 70-33 in Kershaws last 103 starts overall. The Dodgers have also won his last 10 starts and he has an unbelievable 0.85 WHIP this year and an ERA under 2.00. This is a play on Kershaw as we expect him to go at least 8 innings and get the Dodgers back on track.

MARLINS TEAM TOTAL UNDER 3 -140 *4*

Johnny Cueto has not given up more than 3 runs in his last 11 starts and 3+ in just TWO starts all season! Even better, he has given up just 3 runs in just 2 of those 11 starts and has got the W in 8 of the 11. Odds are the Marlins putting up 4+ today are slim in our opinion and definitely worth a big play here.

TWINS @ ATHLETICS – OVER 7.5 +100 *3*

Jason Hammel’s success is still a question as far as pitching in AL. He had a better start in his last outing against the Rays (5.2 innings, 7 hits, 4 walks, 0 runs) but still those are by no means great numbers. Oakland has scored 18 runs in their 3 first games of this series with the Twins and there is no reason they don’t put up another big number today.

ROYALS -1 +109 *3*

The Royals are on fire with wins in 9 of their past 10 games including the first two games of this series by a combined score of 9-2! Duffy for the Royals has been incredible this season with a 1.10 WHIP and a 2.39 ERA. Meanwhile of late Lincecum has been dreadful posting a 1.83 WHIP and a 9.22 ERA over his last 3 starts.
