3* Golden State +2

Triple Dime Bet – Golden State +2
Analysis: 756 Golden State +2, 3 stars Western Conf Playoffs Game Of The Year. We were on G State Game 3, and they disappointed not being able to hit a 3, at one point they were 2/20 from outside. However, they roared back and cut the lead to 1. Then two late call went against them, and they lost by 2points. Down 2-1 in the Series, the Warriors are in a solid must win spot here, vs. a Clippers team that no doubt was feeling pretty good about themselves taking back command in the series. The Power Ratings say “Golden State” here, and the spot says the same. However, the special circumstances make this a GREAT bet. Clipper owner Donal Sterling has a decades long history of discrimination and offensive behavior, but he has really gone way over the line here in his recent well publicized comments. I’m no shrink, but it is very clear how the players were react. Disappointment and Anger. From the Clipper AND Warrior Players. No doubt the Clipper players will just shake their heads, and feel numb over all this….you will hear all the talk about how they are “Pros” and will avoid the “distractions”. Doc Rivers has been 100% honest on this “It upsets me, it upsets my time, we want to focus on playing, and we have to deal with THIS” How would YOU react if your boss/owner pulled something like this?? FURTHER, Northern Cal already despises LA, and now gasoline has been thrown on the FIRE. We WILL GET an ALLIN, JESUS I WANT TO BEAT THESE GUYS SO BAD effort…….. Our biggest concern betting anti Clippers has always been the somewhat biased referees, who “know” it is good for the league to have Big Names like Blake Griffen advance, and big Markets. SO…….when a truly 50/50 call is made, it DOES seem the refs favor the Clippers, this happened TWICE in the final minute of the last game, when the Clips GOT a ticky tack foul called when they had the ball, but Curry had no shot to get a similar Call. NOW, everything has changed. The Clippers’ owner IS an embarrassment to the league, and NO WAY the league has any real interest in them advancing deep in the playoffs…..any ref bias has effectively been removed. Folks will say I’m crazy about all this, but as they say in the Godfather “Now who is being naive about how the world works”. WRONG TEAM FAVORED! I fully expect Golden State to win this game.
NOTE, I had to add the news that The Clips actually considered FORFEITING this game!

Inside the Paint- Sunday

Los Angeles Clippers Head Coach Doc Rivers would prefer to be talking about how well Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan have played against the Golden State Warriors. Or how his team has defended Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson. Or just about anything that has happened on the court in the first-round playoff series. Instead, Rivers and his players spent Saturday talking about how they would respond to an audio recording of a man identified as Clippers owner Donald Sterling telling his girlfriend not to bring black people to games.

Betting Notes - Sunday
•Chicago is weird NBA team; different guy takes most shots every game; Dunleavy scored 35 in Game #3, making 8-10 from arc. Washington won six of last seven games overall, with last five going over total. Chicago lost three of last five visits to Verizon Center, losing by 13-4-3 points. Bulls lost four of last six games, with five of last six going over total. Favorites are 7-19 versus spread; over is 17-9 in NBA playoffs (65.3%) so far this month.

•Golden State was just 6-31 from arc in Game #3, lost by only hoop; they aren’t going 6-31 again. Home side won eight of last ten series games; Clippers lost five of last six games in Oakland- nine of last 11 series games went over total. Los Angeles won nine of its last 13 games, with ten of those 13 going over the total. Warriors won six of last ten games overall; under is 48-35 in their games this year, 23-17 at home.

•All three Toronto-Brooklyn games were decided by 7 or less points. DeRozan scored 30 points in each of last two games, but is just 20-56 from floor in series. Toronto is -25 in turnovers (54-29) in series. Nets are 18-68 from arc in series. Toronto lost five of its last six visits to Barclays Center overall, two of three this season. Nets lost five of last eight games, but are 24-18 versus spread at home this season. Over is 8-5 in East, 9-4 in West.

•Aldridge scored 23 in Game #3, after he had 89 points, 26 boards in pair of road wins to open series; Portland won 11 of last 13 games; they've won four of last five home games, all decided by 6 or less points, but Houston won six of their last eight visits to Moda Center. Blazers had lost five of last six games with Rockets before this series- last ten games in series went over total. Harden is 27-82 from floor this series, not good for Rockets.

HONDO

Royals w/Shields
Dodgers w/Ryu

It was another Saturday night wipeout for Hondo, who went draino with the Cubs and Reds and saw his dirty digits rise to 625 mayberrys.
Sunday: Mr. Aitch will band together with The One And Only Jimmy Shields — 10 units on KC to do a number on the Orioles. Also, 10 on the Dodgers to keep it Ryu against the Rockies.

Game: Miami Marlins @ New York Mets
Time: Sunday 04/27 1:10 PM Eastern
Pick: New York -115 (moneyline) at Bookmaker

The New York Mets are overachieving behind some talented young arms. The Mets are 11-4 as a home favorite and 7-1 in their last eight games following a loss. Last place Miami is in town with holes everywhere, including making two more errors yesterday, now ranked 28th in team fielding. Miami is 2-9 on the road, and the Marlins are 4-11 in Tom Koehler's last 15 starts vs. a team with a winning record. New York goes with Dillon Gee (3.58 ERA), who has been sharp with nine walks and 25 hits allowed in 32+ innings. Opponents are hitting .208 off him, and the Mets are 6-1 in Gee's last seven starts as a favorite. The Marlins are 7-15 in the last 22 meetings in New York, so grab home field. Play the New York Mets.

FYI

Sunday's game between the Tigers and Twins has been postponed due to rain.
A makeup date has yet to be announced. Scheduled starters Justin Verlander and Kyle Gibson will presumably be pushed back to Tuesday for their team's next game.
