[h=2]Larry Ness’ 10* PRIME TIME Sunday Night NFL Oddsmaker’s Error - (3-0, 100% Y-T-D RUN!)[/h]My 10* PRIME TIME Sunday Night Oddsmaker’s Error is on the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Pittsburgh is coming off a humbling beatdown, but gets a boost with versatile RB Le’Veon Bell suiting up for the first time this year. Steelers’ head coach Mike Tomlin isn’t worried about “rest leading to rust:” “His level of conditioning is not a concern to us,” Tomlin explained Tuesday. “He's a guy that's highly conditioned over a 12-month calendar. We've seen him every day, he’s been a part of this, he's been in the building, he's up to speed on what we're doing from a schematic standpoint, really in tune here. We’ll see how sharp he is physically once we get him out on the practice field and kind of go from there but rest assured, you’re going to see Le’Veon Bell and probably a lot of him on Sunday.” Now the Steelers have a true one-two punch in the backfield, as DeAngelo Williams filled in great over the first three games, going for 347 yards from scrimmage with three TD’s. Last week though Pittsburgh was held without a TD in a 34-3 thumping at the hands of the Eagles. The Chiefs come to town off their best performance of the young season, beating the Jets 24-3, intercepting Ryan Fitzpatrick six times. But this sets up as a letdown spot, as Kansas City heads into Heinz Field to face a Steelers team which has won five straight in front of the home town crowd. Note that KC was held without a TD in its only road game of the season. I’ll point out that Kansas City is just 2-4 ATS in its las six as a road underdog of 3.5 to 7 points, while Pittsburgh is 10-6 ATS its last 16 at home and 8-3 ATS in its last 11 against teams with winning records. After last week’s embarrassing performance and with Bell leading the attack on the ground, I’m expecting the home side to pull away down the stretch for the comfortable ATS cover. Lay the points.
