Trainer (Stanley Hough) is having a deceptively good session (39-6-11-8) and he names Alan Garcia, who has won with six of last 18 mounts for the veteran conditioner.​

3rd pick: #4 (Master) - Working fast for his second start back off a 5 1/2 month break. "Legged-up" in a turf race in his return, trainer J.P. Terranova sends him to the dirt this afternoon. Price use in this small field.​

I'm playing on the Roughriders and Argonauts to finish OVER the total. Two of the last three meetings between these teams have gone OVER the total. Those games averaged a whopping 62.3 points, most recently finishing with 83. I feel this one will also prove higher-scoring than many are expecting. Toronto's Jamal Robertson took home "offensive player of the week" honors last week, as he ran for 124 yards plus caught three balls for 53 yards. Robertson will help to soften a Roughriders defense which managed a whopping nine sacks last week. QB Darian Durant of Saskatchewan will also be a test for the opposing defense. He threw for 313 yards last week and the Toronto defense he is facing allowed the opposition to complete 26 of 40 passes in last week's game. Toronto only gave up 17 points last week but it should be noted that the Argos played Hamilton, a team which went 3-15 last season. Even with that effort, the Argos defense has still allowed an average of 37 points per game in it's last 13 games dating back to August of last season. The Argonauts defense should receive a much tougher test this week. Saskatchewan was 12-6 last season and has now scored at least 28 points in four straight regular season games. The problem for the Roughriders is a defense that has allowed at least 24 points in 12 of their last 14 games. Dating back to last season, Toronto has now scored at least 30 points in four straight games. All things considered I feel the number, which has come down from its opener, is generously low. *TOW

DET -140: This one will not be close as CLE is just realing and can't get out of there own way in last 10 games. CLE is 4-6 in last 10 games and has lost 3 of last 4 games. The big problem lately is consistent run support and really average pitching. There pitching staff has given up at least 5 runs in all of last 10 games with the worst ERA in last 10 games of any pitching staff.
