LA Angels listing Weaver and Archer
No hoops tonight, and just can't figure game seven in the Ducks/Kings series. So, we'll step on to the baseball diamond and take the Angels with Jered Weaver over the Rays. With a 4-2 record and a 3.22 ERA, Weaver ain't setting the West coast on fire, but it's his most recent work that has attracted our attention. After an ugly start in early April (0-2 with a 6.00 ERA), Weaver has been almost brilliant. How about 4-0 with one no decision, and a SWEET 1.74 ERA. Tampa's Chris Archer has not won a game since April 19 and has been LIT UP for 18 hits and 12 earned runs in the last 14 innings (7.71 ERA). As always, when we pick a baseball game and specify pitchers, those pitchers MUST GO, or we have a NO play. Gotta have half a Benjamin on the Angels.

Ben lee did the splits in the NBA Playoffs on Thursday winning with the Pacers +4.5/Wizards and losing with the Clippers -4/Thunder.
"Mr Chalk" had Np for Thursday in MLB.
For Friday in MLB in the American League "Mr Chalk" likes the Angels -$140/Rays.
E&B have Np in the NHL Playoffs for Friday.

Pirates-Yankees rained out, doubleheader Sunday

Game 1 of an interleague series between the Pittsburgh Pirates and the New York was postponed Friday due to rain and thunderstorms in New York.
The game will be made up Sunday at 1 p.m. ET as a part of a doubleheader. Starters Edinson Volquez (1-3 4.36 ERA) and David Phelps (0-0, 4.09 ERA) were scheduled to start and are expected to start Saturday's game.

Detroit has been on a pretty good roll on the road and look to continue that as they send Scherzer to the hill tonight in Boston. In his last five starts he is 5-0 with an 1.64 ERA and .186 opponent batting average with 41 strikeouts in 33 innings. He has struggled in the past against Boston but he is in a zone. The Tigers will face Jon Lester who has also pitched well, he sports a 4-4 record but a 2.75 ERA. The Tigers however are 9-2 vs lefties so far this year. You won't see -105 with Scherzer very often so we are going to jump on this one. The Sharps say...

But St Louis has owned Atlanta at home going 10-4 in their last 14 meetings at Busch. Even though he has pitched poorly recently, the value is with Cardinals starter Lance Lynn who opened the season with four vicories but has lost his last two. He gets back on track tonight and getting the Birds at home at pickem is also worth the bet. Cards give Santana his first loss!

The system bet today on May 16th is an {A} bet on the NY Mets on the +1.5 run line. This system bet is currently an official one because it passes the RPI filter (their RPI difference is currently .013). However I do want to give you a heads up that if the Mets are to lose the game, there is a possibility their RPI difference may go past the .015 threshold, turning the series into an unofficial one at the {B} or potential {C} bet.
