JACK JONES
15* White Sox/Twins UNDER 8.5
Take the Under here with both starters looking particularly sharp latley. John Danks has put together a successful season for the White Sox, earning a 3.76 ERA and a 1.23 ERA so far. Over his last three starts, he has been superb, throwing 21 1/3 innings while posting just a 1.27 ERA and 0.84 WHIP. Twins starter, Nick Blackburn, has enjoyed even more success, showing a 7-4 record on the year with a 2.94 ERA and 1.27 WHIP. Over his last three starts his numbers aren't as impressive as Danks's, but they are still very good with an ERA of 2.35 and a WHIP of 1.35. The Twins haven't hit left-handed pitching very well this year, scoring only 4.4 runs per game against them, while the White Sox have struggled against righties, hitting .257 as a team and scoring just 4.3 runs per game against them. Both bullpens have earned an ERA under 4.00 this season, but they should be a small factor with Danks and Blackburn duking it out in Minnesota tonight.
