Service animals run amok as people bring their pet dogs into NYC upscale restaurants

Just like what is happening on the airlines is now occurring in NYC restaurants. People are allowed to bring service animals into restaurants but no one is asking for proof so actors like Justin Theroux and Adrien Grenier bring their dogs everywhere and claim their service animals. Some are bringing dogs that weigh as much as 100 pounds into restaurants. When was this line crossed where it went from just seeing eye dogs for the blind to self entitled celebrities who have to bring their dogs to 3 star Michelin restaurants.

I thought service animals had a vest that states they are a service animal. just people afraid to stand up to the rich and famous. if I tried that I would be booted.
