Greetings,
SERIE B
Spezia at TREVISO - Treviso last 3 games have been nothing short of clinical (0 goals allowed), a complete turn around from previous 3, which saw them drop three straight, while letting in 7! Impressive showing in the last two road games, holding high powered home teams like Cesena and Bologna to zero goal. Whatever they have figured out defensively, it's obviously working. Treviso's home record is nothing exceptional, but then again, Spezia road performance remains an enigma with 1 win in 9 games, and 13 goals allowed. Can't see them winning here or even scraping for the tie against a club which has found
its stride.
The play: A legitemate decent play!
Treviso -0.5 -105 (7.5 units)
Cesena at VERONA - Verona is winless at home (0W-3D-6L), having managed to score just two goals! Cesena, who has been held scoreless in the last 3 games is much overdue for a decent road victory against a punchless homeside. Sure they have let in 19 on the road, but have also managed to score 14.
The plays:
Cesena PK -103 (5.5 units)
Cesena over 2 +105 (4.5 units)
Frosinone at ALBINOLEFFE - Incredible unbeaten run by Serie B's most disciplined and over achieving side. As mentioned in the Mantova monologue of yesterday's selections, all streaks must come to an end.
The play:
Frosinone +0.5 -119 (4 units)
Napoli at LECCE - A moody home team who can score, and also let them him, versus the enigmatic road version of Napoli (6G scored, and 5 against). At the PK line, one has no choice but to side with the visitor, who could find the net more than once (believe it or not).
The play:
Napoli PK -109 (4.5 units)
Napoli over OVER 2 and 2.5 +117 (5 units)
SERIE A
Palermo at REGGINA - Something wicked this way comes.
The play: Reggina pk an +0.5 -116 (5.5 units)
Atalanta at ASCOLI
The play: Atalanta pk and -0.5 +100 (5 units)
MA says: For those venturing into the quicksands of Serie B, consider Treviso at -0.5. For Serie A - believe it or not - consider Reggina at PK and +0.5 to potentially cause the upset.
Good luck,
MA
