Greetings,

Time constraints do not allow for fade analysis on all of my selections except the following:

Genoa at PIACENZA – Piacenza were very impressive in their win against Bologna last week as they applied constant pressure from the first minute. If it was not for Bologna’s defense, which really did not play that bad, the score could have been a lot worst than the 2-0 final. I had stayed away from that one, because of my respect for Bologna, and, needed to see if Piacenza was capable of a character building win; in my opinion they were the side that was truly desparate for a win. I don’t have the same respect for Genoa as I do for Bologna. As a matter of fact they have been a very frustrating side to deal with from a wagering standpoint. They have a tendency to win when you least expect it, and than fall face flat against mediocre opponents. From an offensive standpoint the "bombers of the north" are an offensive force, who loves to play with 3 strikers and press with 4 midfielders. Problem is their defense is not the quickest, and prone to mistakes against disciplined teams like Piacenza. Separated by just one point at the top of the standings, you can expect a lot of emotions on the field (with a red card never far away). Neither if these two in top form right now, but believe that if Piacenza can duplicate last week’ effort, they could run away with this one; with Juventus on deck next week, they will be seeking the victory here, and nothing else. This one should be a lot different than week 4, which saw Genoa beat Piacenza 2-0.
The play:
Piacenza pk -131 (5 units)
Piacenza over 2 -114 (7 units)

The rest, must be brief and to the point:

Bologna at RIMINI - Two talented teams spiringly into the abyss. Very surprised. Rimini has great offense, but Bologna too talented with overall superior team depth (stll feel that they are one of the Serie A graduates). Yet to lose 3 in a row all year, don't see the equally struggling Rimini capable of beating them.
The play:
Bologna pk and +0.5 -122 (5 units)
Bologna over OVER 2 -106 (3 units)

Mantova at CROTONE - Mantova is making a serious statement for Serie A graduation, with 40 points and just 3 losses in 23 games. Defense remains tough, as opponents have been held scoreless 13 times. As wacky as this league can be, a very logical play:
Mantova pk -132 (4.5 units)

Napoli at TRIESTINA - Tough to see how Napoli will react from extra time equalizer produced by Arezzo last week. Still, with just 2 losses in 23 games, and armed with Serie B's most disciplined defense, they remain a great value at PK line. Triestina, losers of two straight, must face Napoli and then travel to Mantova. As this is hardly a motivating scenario, must side with the visitor.
The play:
Napoli pk -129 (4.5 units)

Cesena at US PESCARA - Both line an total completely out of whack. Books must know something I dont. Worthy dog with value on the over. The play:
Cesena pk +128 (3.5 units)
Cesena over 2 -120 (4.5 units)

Serie A

Only one play:

Palermo pk and +0.5 -101 (5 units)
Palermo OVER 2 and 2.5 -117 (4 units)

Good luck,

MA

(yes, very much a mad and wacky league)

(with two red cards, how is Cesena going to manufacture a goal...Pescara at the 83rd minute, for additional wacky Serie B
result)

Serie A

Only one play:

Palermo pk and +0.5 -101 (5 units)
Palermo OVER 2 and 2.5 -117 (4 units)
ATALANTA 1 Palermo 1

Good luck,
