Juventus at <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />HELLAS VERONATime is running out for the legitimate contenders aspiring Serie A graduation. Juventus is too deep in all aspects, and should have plenty of gas in the tank for the final stretch. What is apparent to me is the surprising fact that the officiating has not been kind to them, with very few calls going their way. Additionally, it seems that the rest of the Serie B teams relish playing against this giant, ever searching for a mythical upset. Most of the times it does not happen, and it won’t happen today. Keep in mind that Serie B, with games today and Saturday, will reconvene on Tuesday. The short week puts more value on teams with a deep bench, such as Juventus and Bologna. Hellas Verona’s task is a tough one, and it will be even tougher next Tuesday, as they will face a Genoa team that truly matches well against them. A draw is meaningless here, as both really need a victory here to create some room in the standings. The other contenders for Serie A graduation have relatively easy matches (especially Napoli and Rimini), so don’t expect Juventus to let the guard down. Don’t usually like to play on them, or against them, as I find them too unpredictable in the Serie B environment. Not a big fan of the heavy favorite, but in this match see good value in the -1 and positive juice; I don’t see Hellas Verona scoring here, but do see Juventus scoring two, compliments of a dominant midfield, and front three, that should make its mark in the second half. I said it before, and will say it again, the flurries of red cards that have been appearing in Serie B have a way of changing the flow of games, and if you are on the wrong end, your wager is burnt toast. Barring this scenario, I see it 2-0 Juventus.
Juventus -1 +107 (6 units)

Treviso at GENOAToo much line for me here to chase the bombers of the north. Granted, it is tempting, seeing that they have compiled one of the most dominant home records in Serie B with 12W-3D-1L. Also, the goal differential is highly impressive with 30 goals scored and only 11 conceded. Will stay away from the side, but will consider the total. If Genoa comes to play, they will punch the over all by themselves. I do see Treviso scoring one goal, but, more importantly, see Genoa scoring two. Hence the play:
GENOA over 2.5 -101 (6 units)

Let’s see what happens here today. It could set a monster of a play in the Bologna / Lecce, and Rimini / Pescara games. The latter will produce an excellent opportunity on the total.

Good luck,
