SERIE B YTD: 84W-81L-41T (+45.29 units)
Mantova at MODENA - Just because you are trying to avoid relegation, it does not mean it is going to be handed to you (applicable to Modena). Huge, huge character win aganst Napoli last week, has given slim hope to Mantova for Serie A promotion. It won't be easy, with 5 games to go, visitor must produce victory here. Road record is not the greatest with 3W-11D-4L; but then again, have only lost 5 all season. Complete defensive mismatch here. Patience, defense, and discipline in the crucial second half will prove to be difference.
Mantova pk +131 (8 units)
Vicenza at ALBINOLEFFE - Let us just say that these two are coasting through the final stretch, with relegation not really a factor. Book has put a lot of respect on the fact that Albinoleffe has lost only one game at home thus far in 18 games. However, last 2 games have seen them flat on defense and anemic on offense. Like the fact that the visitor - once again - has found its defensive form in the last four games. Better overall team speed will be the difference here as Albinoleffe has difficulty in that department of the game. Line has excellent value.
Vicenza pk +158 (4.5 units)
Cesena at TREVISO - Surprise draw against Juventus last week does not change a thing for Cesena on the road. Having allowed 36 goals in 18 games (worst in the league), and facing a team like Treviso that loves to run at home, you have to wonder why they are not a flat 1 goal underdog. Not my problem! Home side stuck at 44 points, and close to the relegation sector. Failure to win here could be - potentially -diastrous.
TREVISO pk and -0.5 +109 (5 units)
TREVISO over 2 and 2.5 -105 (6.5 units)
Bari at RIMINI - If Bari is to avoid relegation, which I don't think they will, they must start producing wins in a hurry. With not much skill or speed at midfield, taking chances here will prove fatal against a team with tremendous counter attack capabilities. On the home pitch Rimini has 10W-8D-0L in 18 games, with just 10 goals allowed. If you factor recent form, with an outside shot at Serie A graduation - if pace is maintained - see absolutely no reason for Rimini not to completely dismantle Bari.
RIMINI -0.5 and -1 -111 (6.5 units)
RIMINI over 2 and 2.5 -105 (9 units)
Good luck,
