Heres a line I think is very low, all things considered.

AC Milan "visits" Catania tomorrow in a match that pits one of the best in the world with Catania, a team that really doesnt amount to much. The reason for pointing this game out is, in my opinion the line is very low. Why? Im not sure.

Ac Milan is in 4th place and aspires to nothing more than getting into next years Champions league, which is a huge goal in itself. They can get there by beating Liverpool in this years version but that isnt exactly a gimmie.

Thus, motivation still exists for AC MIlan (usually in the last few games of the year many teams could care less about matches, this is why Im pointing it out).

On the other side is Catania, a team that is currently in 12th place of the league with 37 pts, only 3 more than the 18th spot. A team that amounts to no more than a middle of the table team (and they are overachieving as is).

To make matters worse for Catania, they are not playing this game at home in Catania in the island of Sicily, because their stadium was banned when a cop was killed a few weeks back. Instead they will play this game in the city of Bologna, in Northern Italy (much closer to Milan than it is to Catania).

The line you ask?

Milan -135

In this game that is values and odds, I think Milan at -.5 -135 looks good.

Opinions are always welcome.

Catania is still just in a relegation battle. As you noted there are 8 teams within 3 points for that last spot and Catania does have the worst goal differential by far so they are not breathing easy yet. As for Milan they have absolutely nothing to play for (They are basically guaranteed the 4th champions league spot up 7 points) and are expected to field a second string side.

Also Catania fans will be allowed to attend this game (which is at a neutral site) since the ban imposed after the riots which killed a police officer.

Milan settled for a 0-0 at home last week against Fiorentina in which they showed little desire for goal in the second half. Catania had a solid game against rivals Parma and produced a 1-0 victory. I think both teams will be happy with a point tomorrow.

I don't know what they're expecting. Bottom line for me is the difference in motivation. Milan coasted against Fiorentina and I have suspicions about the way the second half played out, it appeared both teams didn't even try for the last half hour or so.

Anyways Ronaldo is out and I'm guessing Kaka won't play either. That is basically their entire goalscoring output. Kaka is the best player in the world and is absolutely critical for this Milan team to create chances. Without him they would be lost. Gilardino and Inzaghi are useless. I don't know where the goals will come from.

Kaka the best player in the world? Only if your nickname for C Ron is "Kaka" :D

Milan still has motivation, same can be said of Catania, however the two teams are very different (one is almost the best, the other near the worst)and its on a neutral site much closer to Milan than Catania :D

Hopefully they pull it thru. Im on it for a bit :)

Slim I don't have any respect for you! Ronaldo better than Kaka! Ay ya ya.

Ronaldo is blessed with pace and quick feet but is raw. Against inferior talent he looks unstoppable but against quality opponents he is rather easily controlled.

Kaka is sheer class, technically superior and reads the game better. Not to mention he can finish alot more efficiently than Ronaldo.

Take note;Champions league goals >> Kaka 10 vs. Ronaldo 3
