Greetings Gents,

For the stats inclined, the following might be of interest.
Cagliari at Catania:
Cagliari's road record: 0W-5D-4L 7 goals scored, 13 allowed.
Catania's home record: 5W-3D-0L 16 goals scored, 13 allowed.
Week 1 (now meaningless) encounter saw Catania beat Cagliari 1-0 at Cagliari
Neither of the two in fine form, nonetheless the strength of the above mentioned stats is too good to pass up.
The play: Catania pk and -0.5 -123 (3.5 units)

Chievo at Siena - Although results of last 5 or six games are unimpressive, Siena's play in those games has been the latter. It is important to note some of the opponents in the last 6 games: Inter, Empoli, Palermo, and Lazio. Siena has been brutal at home (1W-6D-2L 10g scored, 11 allowed), equally brutal is Chievo's road mark (1W-3D-5L 10g scored, and 17 allowed). Believe it or not, home side in decent form. Chievo weak defense should provide ample opportunity for this Siena to generate sufficient goals for the home victory (week 1 saw Siena beat Chievo 2-1, at Chievo).
The plays: (not for the faint of hearth)
Siena pk and -0.5 +101 (4.5 units)
Siena over OVER 2 and 2.5 +108 (4.5 units)

Fiorentina at INTER MILAN - INTER MILAN may very well go on to win this game, and if so, so be it. With the exception of Roma, no other team has shown the offensive and defensive form of Fiorentina. Regardless, they are at the bottom of the standings because of the 15 point deduction, and are in a dangerous position for relegation. Can they win here? Maybe, maybe not.
Nonetheless, a draw would serve my purpose nicely.
The play: Fiorentina +1 -117 (5.5 units)

As Roma at LIVORNO - As crappy as Livorno's form has been of lately, they still remain a tough team on home turf (1 loss in 9 matches, with just 4 goals allowed!). Couple this type of performance with the Roma's defense, and you have a recipe for the under.
The play: AS Roma under 2.5 goals -122 (4 units)

Torino at PARMA - Insane as this statement might be, I believe Parma will actually produce a rare victory here. With two wins in 19, you have to wonder how can that possibly happen. If they are to stay out of relegation, they must win at home against teams such as Torino. They have overall better talent than Messina, and could catch them to avoid the Serie B zone.
If Parma fails to win this game, they could very well plunge into a long and difficult losing streak. Torino is bad team, who should consider themselves fortunate to be where they are. Between week 12 and week 16, they had put together a decent streak (4W-1D-0L). Recent form indicates that they have reverted to the sub-par outfit that they are.
As dangerous and insane as it may seem, the play is as follows:

PARMA pk and -0.5 +116 (7 units)
PARMA over 2 -112 (3 units)

MA says: For those considering one play in Serie A, consider PARMA at PK and -0.5. For those requiring more stability and sanity, please consider Fiorentina at +1, and Catania at PK and -0.5.

Cheers and good luck,

MA

Let's hope they are also too good for Valencia in Champions League...

Good Luck.
