Sending an attachment/Word 07

I'm trying to send an attachment to my prof and it won't work because the document is in .docx form instead of doc. Anyone know how to change this?

Also, I tried e-mailing it to a computer with Word 03 and it won't even work.

IF he is using Office 2003, he will have to download the compatibility pack to be able to view 2007 Word documents.

Or, you may be able to save the file in the .DOC format.
