Juventus at GENOA
The defensive fortress of Juventus has been nothing short of sensational
against inferior Serie B opposition. Genoa's last win, came against Cesena
on October 21st, and play, of late has been sloppy on both the offensive
and defensive side. I can't see them breaking out of this funk anytime soon, especially against a superior squad that has let in only 5 goals in
Serie B play. Fully realize that this may represent a trap scenario, but
have not choice but to back Juventus against a Genoa squad that is in
a meltdown mode.
Final: Juventus 2 Genoa 0
The play: Juventus -0.5 -114 (5 units) - would have played more, but
losing selections at the 90th minute has made me cautious. Under 2.5
goals was also a strong consideration, which I will ponder until game time.
