Town Votes to Flee Socialist Vermont for Free New Hampshire
Remember our article about Killington, the ski town that wanted to escape the land of Bernie Sanders and Howard Dean by joining New Hampshire? The ayes have it.
The town voted overwhelmingly today to secede and become an outpost of the Live Free or Die State, 25 miles to the east.
Unfortunately, this will probably never happen. State legislators in Vermont and New Hampshire have the final say, and the greedy pols in Montpelier want to keep Killington as their cash cow.
New Hampshire Gov. Craig Benson said the vote "tickled" him, but he worried: "How do you take a piece of property completely removed from our borders? How do you connect it. I just don't know how you'd connect the dots."
