The line has dropped from Lions -6 ½ to where it stands this Friday morning at -4. I was stunned when the oddsmakers opened the Cats up as nearly a touchdown favorite because it’s a rare sight to see them favored at all but I can’t remember the last time they were favored by that much.
My enthusiasm for fading them has abated somewhat seeing as we are getting the Seahawks +4 but it’s still not a terrible number. The Seahawks finally showed a pulse on offense last week in their 27-23 loss to Atlanta and, as an aside, Seattle has won and covered in their last three meetings with Detroit. Add to that a myriad of injuries on the Lions’ side and this looks like a good spot for the road dogs here.
