Didn't word it right, I meant "WR's/TE's".
If you look at the group that way IMO they are excellent considering Graham as one of best in NFL. The WR's by themselves are good but not elite, sure.

from what i gather, there is a huge mismatch along the trenches, vic beasley should murder the seattle tackle...

not a matty ice fan, in fact how can they call you ice when u never won a play off game, but without earl thomas, a with an atlanta team that doesnt have a bunch of pussies at wr, they will move the ball...i would research who is in charge of blocking bennett cause that dude will fuck up your day...

still atlanta struggles with the run, though i think the home field advantage is huge in terms of seattle communication..

Ryan at the top of his game (?). Teddy Bridgewater coming home (the South) ? This should be an interesting match-up. The "hunger factor" will come into play
this Saturday.

Seattle knows how to score on them. Vic beasley should be a factor though. I'm leaning over. Matt ryan doesn't hold onto the ball and Russell will freestyle shit like he always does vs them. Seattle not holding them to 20 pts. Atlanta will score above that imo. Too much speed on turf with no Earl. Trevor coleman prolly be the x factor though. Too much speed and size. Atlanta gives dallas run game a run

Almost correct, but Matt Ryan is 1-4 in the postseason:

"ATLANTA (Jan. 13, 2013). Matt Bryant kicked a 49-yard field goal with 8 seconds left and the Atlanta Falcons bounced back after blowing a 20-point lead in the fourth quarter, defeating Russell Wilson and the gutty Seattle Seahawks 30-28 in an NFC divisional playoff game Sunday.

The
Falcons (14-3) appeared ready to allow the biggest fourth-quarter comeback in NFL playoff history when Marshawn Lynch scored on a 2-yard run with 31 seconds left.

"But
Matt Ryan completed two long passes after the kickoff, setting up Bryant's winning kick and sending the Falcons to the NFC championship game for only the third time in franchise history."

Atlanta then lost at home the next week 24-28 to the San Francisco 49ers.

Just to set the record straight, Seattle did not beat Atlanta on a disgraceful call...i assume you are talking about the Sherman/Julio play at the end? On that play Julio Jones grabbed Sherman's facemask coming off the line, it was blatant hands to the face and not called, so for you to ask for a nickel-dimer PI call on a deep 4th and long pass is beyond ludicrous

So hes 0-5 ats. Or 0-4-1. He's never covered a playoff game

I respectfully disagree.

Game vs.LA was early in year w/ a very new and porous O-line still finding its way and a gimpy RW at the helm.
Gamevs. AZ was a defensive donnybrook between two pretty evenly matched teams. Their other game was a 34-31 battle.
Game vs. GB was their 3rd road game in 5 weeks and they had to criss cross the country 4 x in between so they were burnt out and ripe for the pickings as GB was in a great spot for that one.

The one you are forgetting that was an enigma to me was the paltry 5 pts. they put up on the road vs. Tampa.

All that being said this is one of the best playoff teams in the L5Y in the league who easily would have 2 SB's if not for a major bonehead playcall at the goalline 2 years ago and with a better "D" than Hotlanta. They have played some close games between each other since Seattle became an up 'n comer. This is playoff football where Carroll coaches at his best and I sure do not see an easy blank check win for the home team! Their Legion of Boom is fairly healthy, close to the most superior winning squad they have fielded and playing its best football of the year. Last time I looked Atlanta only beat 2 teams w/ a winning % and got many wins within their own cupcake division!

They guy that got the INT vs Matt Ryan in SEA this season won't be playing. One of, if not the best safety in the league. SEA is done this weekend. ATL should cover.

Atlanta faced 2 quality teams at home this year. Beat GB by 1, lost to KC by 1. Makes me a bit wary to lay many points with ATL.

Seattle's defense can be beaten and Atlanta has the offense to do it.
Coaching/Experience advantage to Seattle.
Rest/Home Field/Offense/Kicking advantage to Atlanta.

Gotta think the Falcons offense will work over that Seattle defense and the Seahawks offense just not able to consistently keep up

I agree with you 100%. Atls' defense was quite young and inexperienced , they are not a Super bowl quality D, but they are better now then they were in the beginning of the season, but the Falcons offense looks like the 2000 Rams now only with a good kicker. I do think Falcons have the advantage at offensive coordinator.

Seattle is 16-0 SU vs Atlanta home or away since 1976. After losing by 2pts in the Clink last yr and having the unforgettable knock out of the playofffs at home by them? I think they're going to annihilate the Hawks.

Don't think so........how about 8/6 su since 85

What about 01/13/13 @ Atl L 28-30
or 10/02/11 vs Atl L 28-30
or 12/19/10 vs Atl L 18-34
or 12/30/07 @ Atl L 41-44
or 11/30/97 vs Atl L 17-24
or 12/15/91 @ Atl L 13-26

We agree to disagree. The last time they played Dallas won by 2 scores but GB had 4 turnovers. That won't happen again

What are you smoking? How does this fit in with your Seattle covers?

What about 01/13/13 @ Atl L 28-30

And the spread was -2.5/-3 for the 13-3 Public Falcons in that game. Vs the up and coming Seahawks with their rookie QB who ended up covering the spread.
So, why is the line higher this time?
