Scott blew the game- Play Mutombo at crunch time

Very late in the game after a SA missed free throw Duncan grabbed the rebound, passed it to Ginobili who scored. Why wasn't Mutombo in the game? There's no way that Mutombo wouldn't have boxed out Duncan. That was the game.

Kenyon Martin should of boxed him out. That's why you always take the Spurs if the series is tied or they are behind in the series, excluding game 1. They are the best team in the NBA and the Nets barely make the top 6.

If the Nets would have won game 3 I think they would have won the series. Scott's too stuborn. He has a personal thing against Mutombo and it's going to cost him a championship.

The Spurs aren't letting the Nets run. While the Nets should continue trying to run if it's not there Kidd can't force it. It's leading to too many turnovers.

Mr. Raiders you hit the nail on the head..Whether Mutombo is in or not...they must pull that rebound..Did Scott remind Martin to box out?..Does he have to?..Thats a play that gives coaches grey hair..Duncan is the league MVP and on that play he proved why..

Have you guys watched that repaly? It's not that Martin didnt try to box Duncan out, Duncan is just too smart of a player and pulled a backdoor cut on him, or something similar to a "swim move" a defensive lineman would pull on an offensive lineman......very clever it was! Secondly, I disagree about Mutombo, he's much too rusty right now. Nets have done fine up until now without him. I actually think Aaron Williams and Rodney Rogers should be getting much more playing time and sit that sorry Azz Collins on the bench!....He's a complete joke!

I still believe Mutombo should have been in for the rebound. You can then call a timeout after the shot to take Mutombo out. I do agree with you about Collins.
