BUCK - Yeah looks like Stefan will make the steelers now after last weekend. Did you read Doug Browns article about the lions in the WINN. free Press. Sounds like the leos have some team culture issues as well.

Coaster - Sorry I missed it would have loved to be there - This tour of duty of working on the island is almost up short term contract.

SCHULTZ - SHITZ THE BED LAST WEEK 0-2, now 12-18.

He picked

Calgary 27, Toronto 23

Hamilton 19, Edmonton 29

This week, so play CGY -7 and HAMILTON +7.5

Just read the article. A bit disrespectful, to say the least, but not something I'd be too worried about. A lot worse things happen during a football game.

If I were a Bombers fan, I'd be more concerned with the fact that my coach seemed more concerned about getting a rushing record than keeping his team healthy. Fred Reid goes down late in the 4th Q, and not only does Kelly put him back in, but a play too early (costing me the over!).

Lions are in a lot of trouble. The sad thing is that they aren't in a must win situation in the next two games against Montreal. Sitting at 3-7 probably leaves them at worst 1 game out of the final playoff spot (be it in the West or crossover). Toronto blows, and while Winnipeg matched up really well against BC, they match up much less favourably against Saskatchewan (IMO).

Should check out that Perry Lefko guy from Sportsnet. Does the same thing as Schultzie, but seems to have a bit more insight and actually considers the spread.

I'm not sure if he has any cred or is just some douchebag they hired, but he seems okay.

He went 2-2 this week, 12-8 overall.

Lefko picks are MONEYLINE and not the harder pointspreads. Confusions may arise because Lefko mentions pointspreads in his articles. By providing score predictions, Schultz pointspread picks can be determined.

Schultzie went 1-1 last week and now sits at 13-19.

Here are his picks this week

Blue Bombers 19, Roughriders 26 - SASK OPENED -8.5

Ticats 24, Argos 22 HAMILTON OPENED -5

Calgary 31, Edmonton 30 - CALGARY OPENED -4.5

He thinks every dog has a chance to cover this week.

Good luck

Schultz split the card last week and now stands 16-24 - i should note Chris is doing a better job of picking games this year compared to last - Still you can't complain at 60%.

His picks this week

Cgy by 4

Montreal by 9

Edmonton by 13

BC by 9.

I think he goes 0-4 this week.

Hamilton always plays CGY tough at home in fact, Winnipeg is in shambles, edmonton winning by 13 in Sask wow after two brutal games vs CGY ballsy. Toronto gets is swagger back with a win and this is a big game in the cross over as BC is basically an eastern team this year.

Funny thing just happened Schultzie was just on the Blake Price show in Vcr and said a lot of contrarian things when comparing his picks

We was down on Winn and Ed. He was bullish on the argos and ticats.

I hate to defend this Schultz guy but it seems every time there is a close game you count it as a lose for him. Didnt he win the edm/cal game. If you were fading his edm. pick against cal. -2 you lost he won. I know he had edm. winning the game but he did win against the spread. That would make him 3-1 on the week right?:think2:

I got the closing line at +1, it moved from -2 because of the heavy betting by the public, but what a game! Saved my ass off :grandmais

What does this post mean?

Its a bit confusing. He was doubting his own picks?

Orion - I am pretty sure I have been using closing lines for his record, if not let me know and I'll adjust

Skate - It means on the TSN website he picked one team and then when he was on the radio show he was making a case for oposite side of what he picked on the website.

What were the two opposite sides he was saying he liked on the radio?

Tough week for schultz 1-3 brings him to 17-27. I think with the NFL starting his write ups will get weaker.

Looks like you are a Schultzie appologist after all, Montreal won 19 points 33-14 he said they would win 9 which was below the spread.
