John,

How many times do you need to get an explanation ? How many times do you need to see the documents that prove the player was returned his funds ? Why have you rejected to have a bank verification on the situation as proposed by Royal back then ?

I really fail to understand you on this very issue.

So you are saying that Royal didn't pay the guy back when I ( yes I, Roberto Castiglioni ) on November 28th 2003 authorized the credit card company to refund the player ?

Is it Royal's problem if both the bank and his credit card company wanted to understand what was going on and froze his credit for a long while ( due to the fact that this known scammer has one of the highest charge back ratio in the world ) ?

By the way the players doesn't charge back when he loses only, he also does it , after having collected his full balance. You know which book John, and if you don't just wait till Monday when we meet.

So here's the situation :

a) Book pays legit wins ( wire ) and credit back full remaining balance . Money is frozen ( by the players bank ) for a while because player has a high charge back ratio ;

b) Player makes up a claim ( based on circumvented limits wagers cancelled PRIOR to the event going off the board );

c) Book provides all evidence to SBR ;

d) SBR, even though being aware that the player is a known scammer, ignores evidence and keeps on hammering the book.

If I want something I want to make sure theoffshorewire will never get cought up in such misrepresentation as SBR has.

But then again, as Ken would say...its all good.

The book gets defamed, the watchdog ignores the evidence and sides with the scammer.

What a world...

Roberto,
I'm not going to debate if the player was paid. He was not.

SBR has received a heck of lot of other slow pays...let's not try to pretend mean ole SBR roughed up Royal over just this.

I keep repeating and maybe I'm typing in invisible ink but I'll try one more time:

“Have both the Book and Player agree on binding mediation and let's settle this and move on.”

John,

This is one of the times I shall accuse you of being gullible.

Apart the fact that its wouldn't be my call ( I'm no longer at the helm there although you seem not to perceive it ), how in the world Royal should accept a mediation when the player has sought legal representation ?

Let Court decide. What I posted is my recollection of facts. Having said that, yes the player has been paid. Even his legal representative has acknowledged this fact, but you seem to ignore it.

Anyways...in this case you are wrong. In new cases, if justified, I'll be by your side to bust Royal's balls. But in this case you're damn wrong.

I know you don't like to be proven wrong, this is why I love it when I do prove you wrong.

quote:
how in the world Royal should accept a mediation when the player has sought legal representation ?

So propose that the player end all litigation with the stipulation that he can never pursue any other remedy once he accepts binding mediation.

Roberto, it's not that difficult.

If Royal really feels they did not stiff this guy, they should agree to binding mediation. All the twisting and typing in the world will not mitigate that fact.

John,

Why don't you send a mail to Kevin. Although you fail to understand, I do not have the power to call the shot there.

There's no twisting John. There's no twisting...but I'm sure that once confronted with fact, you'll finally apologize. To Royal.

Roberto,
OK, I'll write Kevin but you still hold a lot of influence. I highly doubt Kevin will agree to mediation without your blessing...if I'm wrong on that then please accept my apology in advance

I do not see how a mediation can hurt the situation at all. I hope that Kevin allows this. Alowing mediation when one considers himself in the right is a great reflection upon the character of the book.

Ahi ahi ahi ahi....there's no worse def than the one who doesn't want to listen.

What should I do to convince you ? Downgrade them ? I will not. They have cash. Problem is that they have short hands too. I'll keep them as low risk .

Apologies accepted.
