Fresh off a 2-0 friday night here are some toughts for saturday.
UCONN -6
Alot of people already on this one so not much else to say.
Miss St. +4.5 and under 54
The total should be a breeze on this one, in fact I think it might be the easiest cover of the whole weekend. Miss St. will run and run and run and pound it out, Oregon with no Onterrio and against a good D with great coaching should spell low score. Miss. St will blitz alot and the fans should be ready to go crazy after a down year Also it is extremely humid right now here in the deep south, the air conditioning runs 24-7.
FSU -16.5
The seminoles are ready to turn the ship around and since they've had a couple of "down" years I think they aren't so much a huge public play anymore. Giving up only 16 when they were favored by 31 last year at home, I don't see the home field helping NC here and don't look for Bobby Bowden to let up on NC at all. Chris Rix should be ready to finally take hold of the offense and put up the some points.
South Florida @ Alabama over 47
I know what everybody is thinking, but things really aren't that bad in Tuscaloosa. I follow the program about as close as you can and I will admit I don't have the courage to lay the 17 but on that same note I see major points here. Croyle is poised to have a breakout year and has 4 senior WR's to throw the ball to and Shaud Williams another Senior in the backfield. The offenseive line returns three starters including the best 2, also the tight end's both return. South Florida was very suspect against the pass last year and Croyle has the arm to go downfield. If you look at last year when Bama played MTSU they gave up 3 late scores, with any even thinner D than last year look for the Bulls to put up a couple of late TD's here. I see a 42-27 kinda game.
Good Luck and happy gambling
