The Kansas City Chiefs can lock up the top seed in the AFC with a win here, and we know they have the horses to blow the doors off opponents. The Las Vegas Raiders put a lot of effort into last week’s game against the 49ers just to come out with a loss anyway. With failed expectations, the benching of their quarterback and constant heartbreaking losses, it wouldn’t shock me to see the Raiders come out flat and ready for the season to end. Big number for a road team, Raiders for last week’s solid showing while also not dismissing it altogether. But having some individuals who are playing well and trying hard might not be enough this week. You have a Chiefs team that will be looking to win, while ratcheting up their form in time for the postseason, one that will likely be very tough. Granted, the Chiefs have basically been a disaster this season in an ATS sense, oftentimes playing down to the level of opponents while being less-likely to really blow out a team. I just sense a more-thorough showing this week against a Raiders’ team that I suspect might not be able to equal last week’s form. Jaguars allow just three points to the Jets and Texans. Meanwhile, Tennessee is down to their third-string QB, who they signed a couple of weeks ago. While Dobbs was decent against Dallas, he still failed to deliver a victory. Even with Henry expected to be back to be the focal point of the offense, he can’t do everything for the Titans. Titans enter this matchup in free-fall mode, having lost their last six games. The skid continued last week with a 27-13 loss to the Dallas Cowboys, mostly due to the fact that the Titans are dealing with a slew of injuries. The Tennessee Titans (7-9-0, 8-6-2 ATS) are going through their worst period of the season and that will probably cost them a playoff spot this year. The Titans are on a six-game losing skid and they even failed to score more than 16 points in five of those six defeats. Only time will tell if they can overcome them this week.
