Chicago State has no conference and no postseason, but they have played hard all season. (Excellent ATS)

Fresno not a team I’d ever look to lay double digits with anyway.

I believe the post times quoted are the PM release times for weekday games/schedules and not applicable to the weekend games due to scheduling differences. Just sayin ..

If Yale loses to Brown, which is quite possible, the winner of this game will win the championship outright and be the top seed in the conference tournament. Princeton has won the past seven in the series, including 72-60 earlier this season. The Quakers have one great player in Jordan Dingle, but the Tigers are way deeper. Then you add in the whole Senior Day thing.

Meanwhile Cleveland is fighting for a top four seed in the Eastern Conference. The Cavs will be happy to see the Pistons after playing five straight games against playoff teams. Cleveland is a perfect 3-0 against Detroit this season, with the average margin of victory being 20.0 points a game. My model says the Cavs cover more than two-thirds of the time, so you're getting good value at this number.

The Cavaliers have a clean injury report and are 3-0 ATS versus the Pistons this season. When these two teams met in Cleveland about a month ago, the Cavaliers won by 28 points despite Bogdanovic, Duren, Stewart and Burks all playing for the Pistons. Donovan Mitchell and Darius Garland also didn’t play in that game. This has blowout written all over it.

I love the over (149) in this game, as both of these offenses are elite and the over has hit four of their last five meetings. The final score was also 88-80 the first time these two teams played each other earlier in the season. According to KenPom, the Jayhawks have the 76th-highest adjusted tempo rating and the Longhorns have the 65th-highest. Both teams will look to push the ball up the court as quickly as they can and they will also attempt to consistently score in transition. This will allow both teams to have more possessions throughout this game, which will lead to more points.
Texas is also scoring the 30th most points per game and Kansas is scoring the 75th. They’re both very efficient on the offensive end of the court, as I don’t see either defense getting consistent stops in this game. Take the over (149) and expect a high-scoring battle in this one.

I like Texas Tech (-6), as they have the advantage on the offensive end of the court and they are (11-5) at home. The Cowboys are only (4-7) on the road this season and I don’t see them being able to keep up with this Texas Tech offense. According to KenPom, they have the 62nd highest adjusted offensive efficiency rating and they are scoring the 127th most points per game.
Oklahoma State hasn’t been as strong on the road and Texas Tech is also (8-2) ATS in their last 10 games. They’re playing great basketball right now and I don’t see that trend stopping in this game. Oklahoma State, on the other hand, is (0-5) ATS in their last five overall games. They aren’t playing well enough right now and they struggle on the road. Pick the Texas Tech Red Raiders and lay the points (-6).
Southern Miss -2

GAME: (NCAAB) South Alabama vs. Southern Mississippi 03/04/2023 12:30 PM EST
PICK: Point Spread: -2.00 | -110.00 Southern Mississippi (Home)
Southern Miss has the advantage on both ends of the court and they finished the season very strong. I don’t see them dropping this game to South Alabama, as they have the 80th lowest adjusted defensive efficiency rating and they are (7-3) ATS in their last 10 overall games. They are the better overall team on offense and defense and they won’t allow South Alabama to score enough points to cover this spread. The Jags are also (4-10) on the road this season, as they haven’t been as strong when they aren’t playing at home. The Golden Eagles will take advantage of that and slowly pull away throughout this game. Southern Miss is the better overall team. Pick the Golden Eagles and lay the points (-2).

GAME: (NHL) Tampa Bay vs. Buffalo 03/04/2023 12:30 PM EST
PICK: Total: 6.50 | -126.00 Over
I like the over (6.5) goals in this game, as I trust both of these offenses and both defenses have struggled at times this season. The over is also (7-1-1) in their last nine meetings and (3-0-1) in their last four meetings in Buffalo. TB is scoring the fifth most goals and they have the second-highest PP-scoring percentage. They will consistently score throughout and score the majority of the goals that we need to push this total over the number. The Sabres are allowing the 25th most goals per game, as I don’t see them waking up on the defensive end of the ice in this game.
But, Buffalo is still scoring the third most goals per game and they have the sixth-highest PP-scoring percentage. They will also take advantage of their man-up situations and score just enough goals to push this total over the number. These are two of the top offenses in the NHL and I expect them to battle in this game. Pick the over (6.5) and expect a ton of action in this one.

GAME: (NHL) Colorado vs. Dallas 03/04/2023 3:30 PM EST
PICK: Money Line: -110.00 Colorado (Away)
I am going to roll with the Colorado Avalanche ML on the road, as they’ve seemed to turn a corner and want to finish this regular season strong. They are also (7-2-0-1) in their last 10 and they will be highly motivated to bounce back after their loss to the Devils. Dallas is only (4-3-2-1) in their last 10 and they are only (2-5) against the Avs in their last seven meetings. Colorado has had their number and they are starting to look stronger and stronger. They will show up for this game on the road and do whatever it takes to win this game. Pick the Avalanche ML and trust them on the road.
