Guys, just wanted to point out something. I have seen almost everyone (several folks) on here that believe the OVER will hit tonight. I have seen little to no dissenting opinions. In cases like this, for me to take a play I always look to see that some people are disagreeing out there.

In this case little or no dissent. Now, we all know that nothing is free. My belief is that when everyone is on one side or one total play with little or no dissent then it might mean we are missing something. I wouldn't be able to tell you what, but I believe we are missing something in thise case as well. I am going to avoid the total tonight.

So...good luck and I just wanted to slow the vehicle down a little. tulsa

Good Call Here Tulsa Things Seem To Be Out Wieghted On The Over Tonight And I'm Sure The Public Is All Over The Over Too And Sometimes That Spells Doom For The Betters And Some Serious Change For The Books. With That Said I Still Think It Is An Over Play But I Will Just Play It Small And Watch To See What Happens At Half Time Great Post I Agree With You.

The over/under at 183.5 basketball points is a tough one. Detroit will have some problems scoring tonight with poops in their pants. :103631605 :toast:

Why would anyone like the over here, they scored 32 points in the last three minutes of the last game to get to 180, that game had no reason to even get to 170, the only way this game goes over is by overtime or a buttload of garbage points, if you want to bet your money on those two scenarios then good luck.

WHAT the hell are you talking about? The first half went UNDER and the game went UNDER. What do you want from the thread? I gave good guidance as is shown by hindsight.

I wish you hadn't read my thread either, frankly. tulsa

I certainly saved some coin by sleeping through the 1st half of tonight's game as I was set to hit the over 183. Man would I have been pissed off losing by 2 points. Here's to sleep! :toast:

Not really a great spot for play today so didn't play at all. Great to see I've made a good decision and keep my huge winnings for this week safely in my bankroll. :suomi:

I rather blow my money on :niceass: than the Pistons.

I have no problems with you. I get the negative, but don't get any positive from you. You say you wish you hadn't read the thread, but can't come back and say...'gee, thanks for helping me save some dough.' I don't have to have people pat me on the back, but if you are going to say, 'Wish I had missed this thread' then I guess I expect you to come back around and say, 'Thanks.' I know you were not too serious. I didn't say 'go to hell,' or anything like that. I was agreeing with you that I wish you hadn't seen the thread, either.

Now, I'm an ass. Great. lol Thanks for everything.

No problems. Look, let's start over. I'm tulsa. Nice to meet you. I wish you the best of luck. Do not hesitate to reply to any posts I have and I will not hesitate to reply to yours as well. If you throw out any 'negative' even though mild it may be, please follow up if it turns out otherwise. I can take the negative, but I like balance too. Again, best of luck. tulsa

Heres something I wrote out and almost posted this morning , but ended up taking / Heat Ml instead in your Best Bet Thread .....but I desided not to post it because I did not play it (the Under) myself...or any total on this game ....but I almost did........and heres why.....

Detroit As Underdog Was 18 O To 37 U.

Detroit In Road Game Where Total Is Set @ 180 - 184.5 Is : 1 - 8 To The Under.

Detroit Tied In A Playoff 6-16 To The Under.

Miami Vs Good Defensive Teams Allowing Less That 91 Ppg / Heat Are 2-9 To The Under.......

****all this being said ; The Over only missed by a basket so it looks like the lines makers have these two teams pretty well figured out as far as the totals go......anyway.... I had a lean /feeling for the under today and was surprized somewhat by the Over leanings,,,although if the game would have played out like the first quarter the Over would have coverred with eaze..

Hell , it's all a "crap shoot " anyway.....one more bucket here /one less missed free throw there and the over would have been a winning ticket.....

I feel like George Costanza to your James Spader. That was a great episode of Seinfeld. You're not James Spader are you? joke

I'm not going to follow script so well as I'm going to be the one that will now manically go look for some Rum Raisen ice cream. No worries, gatorhater. I apologize for being rude. I am sorry I was huffy. I'll try not to be an ass. Let us find some winners today. Good luck and no problem.

MidNiteGambler, don't hesitate to post your thoughts like that. It isn't as much a crap shoot as you may think but no doubt there is an element of throwing dice to the whole process. Just remember, if it really was 100% a crap shoot then how could, for example, RichDude lead the playoffs best bet and have an overall 26-12 record? Some of the wagers a person can make really are a flip of the coin...seemingly anyway. One key to getting returns from this stuff is to pick your battles carefully.

Tulsa :: I was referring more to the way I felt about the total bet yesterday as being a "crap shoot" / than sports betting in general...altough , we've all had those games where we thought we had a game capped to the tee....and it turns into a loss / and that certainly makes it feel like a coin flip would have been just as good / long run that counts , anyway.........GL to ya .....
