i have xavier ranked #75 and alabama #30 overall as well as non ranked on the road due to the lack of road games so far this season. many rankings have alabama in the top 25. alabama won 6 in a row while xavier is only 1-7-1 ats in last 9, but xavier is stil favored by 4 here. looks tricky ? well it is, and i will go with xavier here. first of all, this is only alabamas second road game this season and they already lost the first one. and they have never been the same team on the road. there home court advantage is usually underated and thats why they are overpriced on the road. they are actually 1-11 su in last 12 road games. xavier however is a good home team, and on a current 13 game home winning streak, winning last 7 home games by at least of 4 pts which is the spread in this game against alabama. this is also a home revenge game for xavier as they lost at alabama last year by 7 pts. finally, a flat spot for alabama. coming of a huge upset win vs wiskonsin, facing a team they have beaten last year (xavier) and looking ahead to there trip to lsu where they will be looking for some revenge.
