There are a lot of games out there that caught my eye.
5* Duke -13
Soft non-conference schedule will leave G'town at disadvantage for what Duke will bring, even off the MD win.
5* GaTech -1
It'll be tough and close but skill of Tech will allow pull away late. Also note that NCST has UNC on deck so they may be looking ahead.
5* Rutgers -7
At the RAC this team can beat anyone as seen over the last couple years. SJU just playing out the string since firing of HC. Should be easy if SUNJ@R comes to play.
4* Texas -8'
Another down conference (Big12 - see Kansas/Richmond) but UT by far in the upper half and has played well at home. OSU been shakey at best on the road so the lay here well within reason. Just for grins play the margin bet the UT wins between 19-25 as it is possible.
4* StLouis -9
ECU will fight but I believe StL better than anyone thought, especially at home
4* Wisc -6
Big 10 way down this year as trend continues where talent is non existent and the Networks continue to HYPE the conference. With that being said, Wisky by far the best team in the conference and should roll in this one as Ill players still having trouble learning the new system and it hurts them in tight games.
3* Temple -6
Temple zone versus team that does not shoot well from the outside. If UMass can't control the boards or make shots this could get ugly.
4* Vandy -5
Still trying to figure out if Vandy as good as advertised. If they are then this roadie should be no issue. Hogs down and trying to rebuild and are no match for upper echelon teams in SEC, even at home.
3* UNC -14
Heel's will bounce back and they get soft UVa team to do it against. UVa bad on the road for a several years now and although this one will be sluggish in 1st half, UNC will roll in the 2nd as they shake off FSU loss.
Off the beaten path..I really like these games:
4* A Peay -7
AP better rebounding, they hold opp shooting down, and have already beaten SEMO on road. SEMO allows 39% from 3pt
4* Samford -6
Samford holds team to 39% shooting at home. While they are not pretty, they get it done.
3* Wofford +7'
Wofford played a very tough non-conference schedule and played close in several games. They'll hang close here also and might surprise at the end.
3* E Tn St -2'
App St tough place to play but ETSU has experience and has won on the road in the past. In a close one, they get it done.
