SAFESTWAGERING
BELMONT

Doubles,Pick3's, Pick 4:
Race 6) 1/10
Race 7) 5/8/10/11
Race 8) 4/5/8
Race 9) 3/4/5
Race 10) 4/7/8/9

Race 6) 6 Furlongs (Inner Turf) Alw 42,000N1x

# 1 Power Blast (morning line 3-1)
C. Velasquez chose #6 (Nutmegcuveeroyale) over this
one, and he may have made a mistake. My top choice was injured after
his 2nd start, and was away from racing for over 1.5 years.
But..... he had a nice 2nd in first start back and should be tighter today.
You can't dismiss his time of 108/2 at this distance as a young 2 year old.

Safer Bet:
a) #1 to Win, Place or Show

Exotics:
b) None

Race 8) 1 Mile (Turf) G-3 Hill Prince

#4 Fastest Magician (morning line 6-1)
His last win was visually impressive against some nice ones.
He came out of that start firing nothing but bullets in morning workouts.

Safer Bet:
a) #4 to Win, Place or Show

Exotics:
b) Trifecta: 4 with 1/2/5/6/8 with 1/2/5/6/8

Race 9) 1 1/16 Miles G-1 Ogden Phipps

#4 Life At Ten (morning line 10-1)
Draws into an impressive field after a sub-par performance in last.
She's been training well and top connections still think she's capable.
She hasn't raced at odds higher than 7/2 in last 11 starts.
Definitely worth a look for the value.

Safer Bet:
a) #4 to Win, Place or Show

Exotics:
b) Exacta Box: 3/4/5
c) Trifecta Box: 3/4/5

Good Luck,
John

WUNDERDOG (HORSES)

BELMONT PARK Race #3 at 2:00 PM Eastern

Top pick: #7 (BOMBER BOY) - $200K son of "Bernardini" finished a strong third when debuting at Gulfstream in early March, then followed that up with a poor effort at Aqueduct going a mile 40 days later. Freshened-up by trainer Nick Zito since that April 15th effort, colt is training fast at Saratoga for his return to action, draws a nice post at this trip, and meets a weak field. The horse to beat.

2nd pick: #6 (Groovy Soul) - Colt raced evenly when debuting on the grass on May 25th and had trained nicely on the main-track before his initial outing. Barn (Barclay Tagg) is always better second time out and has a big half-mile work on June 5th. Looks set for his best.

3rd pick: #4 (Raison d'Etat) - Son of "A.P. Indy" showed some speed when debuting here last fall, then finished a non-threatening 3rd on May 5th in his first since that time. In the patient barn of Bill Mott and colt is working nicely for this attempt.

4th pick: #5 (Dallaglio) - He'a been away a bit "slow" from the gate in both starts and trainer Duggan will take this colt's blinkers off this afternoon. Could factor at a big price with a "clean" start.

HOLLYWOOD PARK Race #1 at 4:00 PM Eastern

Top pick: #3 (WOODMAN'S LUCK) - The probable favorite has an excellent record on this surface (6-1-3-1) and that includes a near miss in the $150K Snow Chief S. here on April 23rd. Working fast for this, he has a big class edge on this group and should a solid pace to rally into. The top selection.

2nd pick: #7 (Cahill Country) - Price play runs second off a claim by Hector Palma and in his first for the new barn gelding raced evenly at this condition going a mile on the turf. Barn cuts him back a bit in distance and moves him to the "poly" surface. Has a fine recent work and hs's (10-2-1-2) on synthetic surfaces.

3rd pick: #6 (Senator Bob) - Has excellent early speed and exits the same contes as "Woodmans" and after setting the pace he tired to run third, 6 lengths back of the top choice. Takes them as far as he can.

4th pick: #4 (Macho Dorado) - Golden Gate shipper was beaten less than a length there last out in an entry-level allowance run on the turf course. Good barn (Vann Belvoir) ships him south and back to a synthetic (where he's 3-for-6). Could impact at a nice price.

My favorites

I am only testing and documenting and plan to start betting soon.
These are the handicappers I like.
Chase Diamond
The Proffesional Gambler
And I like Norm Hitges
I wish these were all posted here (somedays they r :).
If so I would start with a smaller bankroll and could use them all.
Otherwise I have start with a descent size bank roll and choose only one of them.
