Well it's just sad now. Iona plays around with Canisius too long and only wins by 4 and Penn looked bad. Columbia the big winner as a dog. Tonight I will lay the wood with only one game:

Jacksonville State -5.5 vs Eastern Illinois


Jax State wins this game by double digits or something is very, very wrong with sportsbet's formulas. This is EIU's 4th straight road game and they are 0-9 on the road this season. Jax State 8-2 at home and are coming off a clubbing of SE Missouri St by 15 points (as a 3.5 point dog). This is Jax State's 5th straight home game and they are 3-1 to this point (only loss was to Morehead State as a PK). Jax State 4-1 L5 ATS and EIU 2-4 L6 ATS. I look for Jax State to win this game with great ease today.

Thanks TK. I went back over the last week of struggle (after a 6-0 the week before that) to see where I have gone wrong. 8 of my losses are by less than 5.5 points ATS and 3 of the last 5 are by 2 points. Talk about painful! Check this out:

Close losses ATS:
Loyola MD +27.5 at Manhattan (L by 5.5 ATS)
Kansas St +8 at Oklahoma (L by 4)
SIU -14 vs Indiana St (L by 5)
Mich St -3 -120 at Minny (L by 2)
Maryland +6 at Wake (L by 2)
Tenn St +9 vs Austin Peay (L by 2)
Penn -3 at Yale (L by 5)
Iona -7.5 vs Canisius (L by 3.5)

Now 2 were bad losses:
Florida Int'l +11 at N Mex St (L by 20)
Indiana St +6 vs Creighton (L by 11)

The wins have been pretty solid:
Purdue -4 -120 vs Mich St (W by 2)
Richmond +8 at Xavier (W by 17)
Michigan -4.5 vs Iowa (W by 1.5)
Columbia +5.5 at Dartmouth (W by 41.5)

Totals were split...1 bad 1 good:
Louisville/Tennessee O 147.5 (L by 20.5)
Maryland/Wake O 152 (W by 26)


The Purdue win could've gone either way and the Michigan win Iowa was never really threatening to cover so I know my numbers have been close but close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades. If my plays were getting murdered night after night I would seriously take a harder look at the plays I've made with the formulas I use but I think I need to stick to my guns which to this point have done me well.

As for Jax State...if I had a POM or whatever I would strongly look at making them a contender. With my current luck though I won't go nuts on it. Good luck tonight!
