Gelding was tearing it up at Finger Lakes, but I've seen this movie before - plenty of owners set out on pie in the sky trips to Saratoga after beating up the minor leaguers. Surprisingly, many end up scoring at more than fair odds. With the two scratches in this race, he'll probably go off around 5/2 instead of 6-1, but I've got him singled in all horizontals as well as a sizable win bet. It's true, #6 Double Shot is going to be tough while making the start at his lowest level ever, but he won't have the pace he likes so I'm convinced he is going to fall short.
