LT Levi Jones is very doubtful. His replacement got tore up in the 2nd half against the Ravens. (gave up 3 sacks/2 forced fumbles, gave up another hit that led to INT, and had 3 false starts) The story on this guy is that he is a horrible pass blocker, but a decent run blocker. Niners have a stud pass rushing RE? How is thier run defense? I'm too lazy to look at this stuff.

the question that has to be asked here is: coming off their loss to the ravens - which basically ended their season - what will the focus level be for the bengals. if they come to play - they win this game. the 49ers on the road are a disaster - and i love to play against teams in their next game - when their last game was a blowout and a perfect game - although since it was hosting an ncaa d2 team in the AZ cards - one has to also note that.

Shows one how great the NFL is. Who would of thought five months ago that this game would be an interesting one to watch. With no clear cut pick as to who would win that matchup?

bit of a stretch to say the bengals season is
over. sure it will be an uphill battle but they
are very much in the running for both division
and wild card. the o-line holds up they can get
it done at home vs the niners.

I dont have the stats to back it up but I have noticed over the last few years the bengals even when they were the bungals tend to light up san francisco secondaries...to the point of fustration. Count on Marvin Lewis to keep his team focussed.

last week i was trying to convince some guys at work how gb was going to cover against the bears,gb gets toasted by detroit, faces chicago who just killed arizona by a ton, rarely loses big as of late, and gb's giving 7.5?

GREEN BAY 34-21

last week i was trying to convince some guys at work how sf was going to cover against arizona, frisco just gets killed by 38 points by balt, and faces a team who just beat them a few weeks back and is giving them 10.5?

SAN FRAN 50-14

wednesday i was trying to convince some guys at work how cinncy was going to cover against sf who just beat arizona by 36 pts, while they had just gotten beat by 18 pts, and now they're giving 3?

it just seems right, again.

GAME.

Like Bengals to bounce back to hapless 49ers on road. Marvin Lewis still thinks this race isn't over and he is 100% right.

kojak, you're exactly right. The Bengals are not out of it. In fact, I like their chances. What can I say, I'm an optimist. I guess you have to be when this is as close to the post season bengal fans have seen in about 12 years. They will beat SF Sun. They have a tough game next week against STL. Then return home against the Clowns. And oh yea, Baltimore sux.

Tomorrow forcast: Unless SF brings some warm weather w/ them, it's gonna be cold.

San Fran is awful on the road but cinci is best at home. With 3 games left they are in this for sure.
