San Antonio vs New Orleans on 04/13 by Craig_Brown

Handicapper Analysis 0
The Spurs defeated the Pelicans in three of four of their meetings and covered the number in those three victories as well. Speaking of covering, San Antonio has been a veritable ATM when playing New Orleans as they have covered in eight of their last nine dating back to January of 2020.
The Pelicans have been a much better team since acquiring the dynamic CJ McCollum but they still can’t score like the Spurs as San Antonio is ranked eighth in that category, averaging 113.2 points per game while the Pelicans are ranked 21st.
The metrics on these teams are similar with San Antonio the more prolific of the two in scoring while New Orleans plays better defense. But the oddsmakers are giving us six points on the visitors and that’s just too good to refuse.
