Ted, with all due respect, I'm no child either and, as an adult, you made a choice to do the tracking. I don't need to apologize to you or to anyone for attempting to do somethihng for the good of the forum (which would help all of us, myself included), then choosing not to do it when a few ruined it for the majority.

TO ALL,,so maybe JCAMBERT jumped the gun and started the thread a little to quickly..without consulting to see who everyone thought who the best cappers are...big deal, he was only trying to do something new AND POSITIVE for the readers..not insult people..I don't blame him for giving up as we will also SORT THROUGH THE RUBBLE and scrap new ideas without giving them a chance
I was going to start a thread called "Best cappers thread -- bad idea" but then I saw all the discussion.
Apart from the obvious black and white categorization of the cappers (which is both inaccurate and unfair) there is the more subtle but important flaw of asking the good cappers to do a favor for the readers and not the other way around.
It's like saying "ok guys, you've been working your butts off capping games while I've been just copying your plays and making the same money without doing any work and, well, thanks for all that etc., but, uh, could you please now shine my shoes, bring in my newspaper and give me a massage? Oh, and don't greet my family while you're at it because I might choke on my beer. Thanks, much obliged."
OldmanTed, you are a class act and that is obvious from the way you give everyone the time of day (including those who I think you shouldn't), you always show your record, you give intelligent analysis and commentary and other intangibles. I don't think it's right to ask for an apology, but I think we all know who's who so we should all just support the people we believe in and ignore the others.
My 2c on the issue.
