I was up there earlier this year..You drive up this road through a trashy tourist strip passing water slides and zip line places..just shit.
We stopped and saw the monument ...very cool, although the park area was under construction. We drove down the back side..super rural beautiful spots. A very hard spot to control has been my thought since the announcement of the 4th celebration. I'd have to think there is an Army of security in the area and they've most likely been there a while.

Trouble tonight at Rushmore? only 7500 tickets..but it's a good amount people in a small area.

Rapid City and Keystone South Dakota are very underrated places in our country. It's gorgeous up there in the hills.

Yeah it's great up there...the side view of the monument from the back side of the mountain is stunning.

I have been there. It is awesome. Fuck the grandstanding Indians complaining about the monument and fuck the fake news media criticizing it. These are national heroes and the silent majority is not going to tolerate attacks on our monuments. I've been there. A sick monument celebrating 2 slave owners and 2 racists. Also nauseating example of disrespecting nature to make some kind of twisted political point.
