Can anyone really see this guy as our president? Now, I have nothing against Republicans, so this has nothing to do with that, but I just see him as Yankee fan who cheated on his wife before he was everyone's savior after the WTC debacle.

Would be an excellent president but will never get the nomination because the Religious Right of GOP will never allow it. McCain maybe because he has prostrated himself before them for last couple of years but never Rudy. Of course, could never have been Mayor of NYC if he wasn't so moderate.

It really doesn't matter who's running for the Rep. The Democrats will put forward a BETTER man for the job and that man will win.

Rudy was a terrific mayor.He made NYC so it wasn't like walking into Baghdad.Cleaned up the city with some law and order.He was far from that other liberal social experiment gone bad,Davi Dinkins.
Rudi basically took back the city from the insurgents...Republican mayor in a city of about 5 million democrats.
