I have Matt Ryan on a bye week, and I originally drafted Matt Cassell as my backup. I guess I could go the safe route and pick up Jason Campbell, but I think Derek Anderson is a huge risk/reward, even though all websites have him listed at the bottom in this week's rankings. Am I being stupid or does Derek Anderson have a bigger upside than Jason Campbell?
I'm not too high on Derek Anderson. He only really has one person that can catch balls in Edwards and is veru good at dropping passes. The way that Cincy's D has looked would cause me to stay away from him. I don't see any scenario where you aren't starting Ryan on a regular basis and I think that Campbell has the better matchup and will most likely have a better week.
I would play Campbell, look what he did against the Lions team last week. Campbell always seems to have big games against below average teams, and struggles against good teams. As for Anderson, Cleveland is just aweful and if they are going to compete with the Bengals it needs to start on the ground. I think Anderson gets 1 TD with about 220 yards and 2 INT's. The best case senerio would be Cincy going up 2 TD's early and forcing Cleveland to throw.
