First off I will take the Stamps today. I see this game going one of two ways offensively: a) Stamps run it down the throat of the leagues worst run defence by far, and score 35 points, Joffery Renyolds player of the week, or b) Stamps air it out like they did last week only against a worse pass D and Henry burris throws for 6 TD's, player of the week, Stamps score 48.
Defensivly The Stamps played their worst game of the year months ago in Winnipeg the last time they played against a first time starting CFL QB from Idaho. They gave up 450 or so yards passing and 32 points to Ryan Dinwiddie, because they left it up to him to throw all day and protect against the run. Also a few key players were injured back then and have since returned. There is no way the coachs will make the same mistake against Toronto espicially after they have had so much success blitzing two very good QB's in the last two weeks (ray, calvillo). I see Calgary swarming TO's O-line all day long and while they may give up a 1 or 2 long ones it simply wont be enough.
For those playing totals, the weather is perfect, calm, partly cloudy, and high of 23.
Calgary -12, -109 (1 unit)
Calgary -6.5 1H, -111 (1 unit)
A very interesting game tonight, I struggled picking a side but I want to have action on it, to make it more fun to watch tonight. I am taking the points and a "proline tie"
BC +3, -110 (1 unit)
BC/SSK over 54 +102 (1 unit)
2008: 15-14; +0.98 units
Having a really tough time picking tomorrows game. I like that Mtl is hosting a western team at 11am, but other than that I cant find a good angle. I am thinking that Edmonton wont play that bad 2 games in a row but Mtl is tough at home.
