Lander, I can't speak for Rio on why they paid. I would hope (and I honestly believe) it is based on what they saw. If you have information otherwise you are a better man than I. Paying out over $26,000 dollars on this seems high on an alleged extortion pay off. I have seen excuse after excuse surface but none seem to stick. The funny thing about extortion is usually the players make the move on the book, pay me this or I will run to the forums. In this case the others dragged a screaming and kicking Sick Gambler to the forums with this info and he has been on the defensive from the start. Not usually the way someone extorts a book wouldn't you say. Now that the ruling is in his favor he has "extorted" the book.

I don't believe Rio has evidence to show this was a major scam but paid off in order to silence people, if they did it doesn't seem to be working.
