Looking at free agent qb's Orton looks like the best one. Maybe they look to make an offer to Matt Moore.

Matt MooreQB30MIATBD$5,500,000UFA
Jake LockerQB26TENTBD$4,004,637UFA
Michael VickQB34NYJTBD$4,000,000UFA
Kyle OrtonQB32BUFTBD$4,000,000UFA
Matt HasselbeckQB39INDTBD$3,750,000UFA
Christian PonderQB26MINTBD$3,232,313UFA
Mark SanchezQB28PHITBD$2,250,000UFA
Blaine GabbertQB25SFTBD$2,011,587UFA
Shaun HillQB35STLTBD$1,750,000UFA
Jason CampbellQB33CINTBD$1,500,000UFA

If I have nothing else, I take Locker and Gabbert. I sign them for the minimums. Locker has better skills than Gabbert. Gabbert is Timmy Chang from Hawaii or the Texas Tech qb's under Leach. Don't hire a defensive coordinator when you don't have a qb. I would also bring Shaun Hill in. Hasselback is too old.

I don't know why but I'm a fan of the Ryan brothers.
Both of them. I don't know why everyone has such love/hate opinions of them but at they end of the day they are great coaches.

Anyone who does not think Rex did a tremendous job with the jets is not giving him enough credit.

The next time Rex coaches a game with a top 20 qb will be the first time.

Unfortunatly it does not look like that non top 20 qb run is going to end anytime soon .

How often do you see a 1st round qb selection under a previous regime, a new regime comes in and it gets better? Yes, sure get rid of him if u r rex which he seems to prefer those type anyway but do you really trust Rex to make a good quarterback decision for the future?

How do any of us know what happened in NY ?..its not like a GM over there is getting praised for a great job... I think its a good hire..let's see how it plays out..

Bills should sign Jamie Foxx and hope he can pull his Willie Beamon act from Any Given Sunday off. Better than that list of FA QBs

He cant evaluate or coach a qb. The end. This is why have a top 5 selection

His job is not to evaluate qbs in the sense that you're implying .
Thats scouts and the GM.

First, I'll bet he has a lot of input and second, out of the three on the roster he decides which one plays. He also has to evaluate them during the week and the off season

For entertainment purposes alone, I think Ryan going to the Bills is great. He continues his battles with Belichick, and now he gets to face his old team twice a year. He certainly knows the division.

Practically speaking it is kinda shortsighted to jump at a offer from the Bills, most coaches should be more selective with their 2nd chance. If you don't do well in your 2nd HC gig then you probably aren't going to get a shot at a 3rd before going back through the coordinator ranks. Then again, Rex isn't really that young either.

Can't really argue with 28mill guaranteed either.

Pats fans will not like second place
The Bills should focus on a winning season and making the playoffs for the first time in forever.

The Bills have the longest active NFL streak of missing the playoffs.

Yes most coaches can pick any qb they want to start from week to week although the point I was making was he had no say in who to draft and that kind of thing.

I understand, but I really believe that he had a lot to do with Sanchez being a below average or average at best QB
