Report: Dolphins had filed missing persons report on Lawrence Timmons

Whatever happened to Miami Dolphins linebacker Lawrence Timmons on Sunday, it was serious enough that the team reportedly involved law enforcement.


According to TMZ Sports, Timmons was not in his hotel room when the Dolphins checked in after curfew, and a series of calls to his family and close friends turned up nothing. The Dolphins ultimately filed a missing persons report, with no sign of Timmons anywhere.


Police ultimately tracked down Timmons at Los Angeles International Airport, where he was reportedly trying to fly to Pennsylvania to visit his baby.


As previously reported, Timmons will see a doctor in light of these events. It sounds like a rather abrupt and bizarre incident, and hopefully everything is alright with him.

The good news ... cops found Timmons at LAX early Sunday morning in a boarding area in an effort to get to Pennsylvania. A team rep met Timmons at the airport and left with him.
So, why Pennsylvania? We're told Timmons had spoken with his baby mama who lives there and had told her he missed the baby and wanted to visit. He was serious about visiting her

since they flew out to LA last week to practice because of hurricane irma, he missed his Baby.
Makes sense, but a bad idea trying to do that on Game day.

After reading about this online it seems that the guy has some mental issues going on. Hopefully he gets the help he needs and that everything turns out okay.
