I have been pro officer in almost every one of these incidents with video footage because the video footage supports them. Here, the cop was instigating and was violent without cause. The reason he doesn't want the kid arrested is because he knows he done fucked up and he was going to lose his job at a minimum and perhaps his own freedom. Fuck him.

Everybody thinks I’m anti cop here. I don’t hate cops. But I’m pro America. Police have an incredibly difficult job. But the best way to do that job is to be calm but assertive, and having a common courtesy to the public. Police are public officials who work for the location they are in. And they swore to support and defend the constitution and to bear true faith. Operate impartial and faithfully. What does it say? No mental reservations or purpose of evasion.
I think a lot of the disconnect between police and the public is the training and who they let become police officers. And they turn these guys loose on the public and you wonder why people have a hard time respecting or talking to the police at all or with any courtesy.
